  1. Good against Huddersfield, poor today.
  2. No they didn't ..... But King is an experienced Premier League player that's had more appearances than most on that pitch ..... he's the senior player that should have been leading the reserves and be one of the best players on the pitch. BTW, Why not make a point rather than an insult?
  3. Didn't watch the game then?
  4. Unfortunately yes. I don't think some people have much going on in their lives!
  5. Roy on Coronation street called in a fridge repair and when asked the serial number he gave something like: LCFCCCW1997 CCW = CocaCola Cup Winners
  6. If my aunty had bollocks she'd be my uncle!
  7. I love our super-quick counter attacking style of the last few years. However, when it becomes your only style of play it's easier to defend against. For me, Puel has bought in alternatives, slowing it down when necessary and playing the ball around teams not over them. The result is that we can still use the incisive counter-attack when suitable and it's even more devastating because it's not predictable. I'm no massive fan of possession stats either, but the advantage possession gives you is - The opposition can't score when you have the ball, and it's a time when you can fill your lungs ready for the next burst of attack. Think about possession this way - 60% of 90 minutes is 54 minutes with the ball at our feet, 30% is 27, that's 27 minutes less that the opposition are dictating play, we are having to chase the ball and work harder, and 27 minutes of them creating opportunities and not us.
  8. I sincerely hope we are on the phone to Ancelotti to see if he'd be interested ..... What a step forward that would be, and after CR and SGE maybe it's not entirely unrealistic?
  9. Stringer's mum's house?
  10. I didn't realise that!!!! I'll go back to thinking he's not the man for the job!!!!
  11. Oddly, I have thought that he wasn't all along ..... But after last night changed my mind slightly. He obviously played the two big men up front due to Liverpool's fragility at defending high balls ..... then at half time realised it was wrong, made changes, gave them a rocket and won.
  12. Very true...... we'll have a better picture in a month or two!!
  13. Phew, Thankfully order is restored and I disagree entirely (having silently agreed with you on a few posts recently). For me we are underperforming with the resources / players available.
  14. He wasn't greta last night ..... but did thread one quality pass through to Vardy.
  15. Good article ..... You see it yourself but always interesting to read the analysis. I often have wondered what the trigger was to change between accepting opposition possession to a very intense press to win the ball back.
  16. Looks a great CH, loads of composure too.
  17. Needs to find that confidence that he had when he arrived - his debut goal was a glimpse of a special player - i'm convinced it's still in there somewhere!!
  18. Leicester’s manager said. “But this is my team, Roy has another team. For us it’s important he scores goals and the transfer window is far.” Seems to suggest CR will be looking for a striker when it opens???
  19. It does seem one of those obvious things to do .... and maybe all the research and stats that the management team have run and decided not to is over complicating it.
  20. Always struck me as having no ideas at all ...... His signings were generally agent led. He was way out of his depth ..... Something that really cannot be levelled at CR who is comfortable at the top end of any European league.
  21. To be fair the first part of your call was sensible .... then you let Stringer make you sound apologetic and just strengthened his agenda against Jamie. Seriously if anyone thinks that calling someone a Jap, Brit, Ozzie, Scot, Yank, is racist they should grow a thicker skin (regardless of colour) because it just isn't.
  22. If they were in an argument / drunken banter / shouting at each other down the table then I'd guess there are many things that he could call them that would cause upset ..... But really .... Jap??? He's Japanese and got called Jap ....... Scottish people get called Scotts ...... Australians, Ozzies. FFS it's nothing. Get rid of racism ... it has no place in the world. Insulting anyone based on a difference they have to you just isn't nice ..... It's got no place in modern society. But let's not wring our hands and make a massive deal out of this - it's just a non story. It's not racist, it's an abbreviation. It's the kind of thing that would be sorted in seconds if the guy did find it offensive .... "don't call me that mate it's not nice" .... "Really, sorry, I didn't mean it offensively, was just referring to your nationality as a way to identify you in the crowd of people at the other end of the table". "no problem" But we have Stringer instead making such a big deal out of it .... blowing it out of proportion and being the low life that he is.
  23. Oh and I'm half Irish ..... call me Paddy all you like ..... It's just not a big deal and certainly isn't worth some pompous d*ck on the radio refusing to repeat such "awful" language.
  24. Stringer is such a weasel. "I'm not going to use "THAT" word" making out it was the most offensive name anyone could use ..... FFS Scottish people are Scots ..... Japanese person get's called Jap shocker. Stringer loves making something into a big deal no wonder the players hate him so much.
