Agree - Mahrez was our only hope. Gray poor, Simpson and Morgan V poor, Albrighton a lot of effort little quality, James pedestrian.

I really wonder if I watched the same game.
-
Absolutely agree ..... great player, great memories, and dare i say it a legend ...... but spot on with this comment.

Please tell me you're joking?

I'm not sure it is tenuous, didn't Eden call him the most influential coach he's played for?

Iborra could face a six year ban from football
5waller5 replied to Fightforever's topic in Leicester City Forum
Wow. The thing that is on our side is that some "big" clubs are affected so the sentence will be low ..... If it was just little clubs like us they'd all get banned for 6 years "to make an example"! -
What retains Leicester from becoming top 6

6 better teams. -
Vardy's goal celebration, clearly trolling Riyad
5waller5 replied to Vardinio'sCat's topic in Leicester City Forum
Personally I interpreted that celebration (that Nacho instantly joined in with) was one for him and Nacho..... I thought maybe they've been nagging to play together as a front two, and that was to say "15 minutes in and it's working"..... However, it could be b*llocks!! -
Should Riyad Mahrez play for the club again?
5waller5 replied to Tuna's topic in Leicester City Forum
I disagree with the question .... should be yes or no. I voted yes, because i want him to .... not that we need him to. -
Top bloke, loyal player, and a real shame on two fronts; 1. He wanted to play for LCFC and was glad of every second he did - just couldn't step up as far as the club have. 2. On a day that should have been dominated by his leaving, it went unnoticed as the "star turn" took all the attention - almost like a microcosm of his career at LCFC.
-
Please never buy LCFC

Uncharacteristically poor game from Albrighton

Albrighton and Shinji having a mare tonight

Man City make £50million offer for Riyad Mahrez?
5waller5 replied to LCFCb0y's topic in Transfer Talk
I really don't get the outrage. By anyone - fans or players (although I doubt there is any from players). One of, if not the, best players to ever play for LCFC who attracts interest each transfer window is open to a move and says so. Deal breaks down, player stays. So what??? It's good news for us - we keep him longer and benefit from his talent, whilst his value continues to rise (difference between the two transfer windows has been a doubling of value. Hold onto him and sell when it suits us.... just no need to get over excited and slate the bloke. -

Man City make £50million offer for Riyad Mahrez?
5waller5 replied to LCFCb0y's topic in Transfer Talk
No it's not - they'd simply add an undertaking to this deal that says they will not activate the sell on clause previously agreed for IN. Very simple. -
Great signing for them. Sorry to see him go.
-
He'll never spend a penny he doesn't have to - but if he sees Slim as being the guarantee of survival he'd buy him in an instant to get the Prem money for another season / help him to sell. When i say instant, I mean a long whinging week of drip torture negotiations, and a minute before deadline capitulation of our patience!
-
He'd be a great Newcastle traditional number 9 .... he's a great header of the ball and they have always been a good crossing side so he'd flourish there me thinks
-
Seems to be raising his profile via media appearances - would suggest he's thinking of his next upwards move and not a retrograde one.
-
I've thought that he looked half decent in the past ..... But the passing game is definitely not one that he's suited to - Almost everytime he gets the ball he lumps it aimlessly into touch. Decent player for Shakespeare style sides, but not for Puel.
-
Crazy decision by Watford, I'd have happily had Silva at Leicester (until Puel started his 25 year reign of unprecedented success)!

Back on to Musa, I personally think this is just one of those moves where it doesn't work out. I think he'll go on to have a really good career somewhere else and we'll be wondering why he didn't do it for us. The goal against Barca had me nudging my mate and saying "we've got a player here" I was so excited by him - pace, direct running, finishing ..... Probably the three attributes most affected by confidence, maybe one day he'll get that confidence back and it'll fall into place.
