  1. Just watched Knicks beat Philadelphia 100-84. Good confidence and dominate performance from Knicks again, Anthony just different class, Felton and Kidd again running the show, JR.Smith on the bench getting 20 pts. 76ers can hit a lot of 3 pointers though, Jrue Holiday is a quality player for them.
  2. Watched Brooklyn Nets last night, time to watch Knicks early tip off 5.00 over here
  3. Really enjoyed the Knicks performance last night, Carmelo Anthony and Raymond Felton were quality all game, Steve Novak couldn't stop hitting 3 pointers. Heat could never get going, like you said FIF they were very flat. Good win for Clippers as well, Lakers have had such a poor start, Clippers will be a danger this season, could well make the finals in my opinion.
  4. How did the pair of Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis look?
  5. Really like the look of the Nets, Brook Lopez fully fit again, Johnson from Atlanta should make an impact, but all about Deron Williams he is just quality Currently watching Heat @ Knicks, Knicks look really good, Anthony on fire while I really like the look of Raymond Felton.
  6. Yes been watching all my games on firstrowsports, some very good streams as well, hardly ever freeze, and all on time and never about a minute or two slow. Will try and keep my eyes open for Clippers @ Lakers, but I doubt I will be able to.
  7. Seems those two ESPN games are not on UK television. Only in America which is flaming rubbish. Watched two quarters of Oklahoma @ Spurs last night, Tim Duncan was on fire, and looking at the result this morning, it seemed a great finish with Tony Parker hitting a last second jump shot to win the game.
  8. Might of had mental issues, but looked pretty drugged up. It was a truly bizarre experience, a lot of bikes passed him, but I was the only one walking, could of easily turned around and attacked me or something. But he just walked on doing the same thing, he just looked like a proper zombie.
  9. Time to watch San Antonio @ New Orleans. See how Anthony Davis gets on in his first NBA game.
  10. Today I came across the most weirdest moment of my life. Was walking down the great central way heading for Upperton Road and onto the job centre, while I was walking this guy came towards me and seemed absolutely drugged up to high heaven, he just stood there still, put his arms in front of him like a Zombie and kept twisting his head round and round, rubbing his feet on the ground, as I walked past him I looked at him, and it looked like he was completely gone and didn't know what he was doing. Was so weird and strange, definitely not Halloween related either, he just seemed drugged up to high heaven. While my trip to the Job Centre was helpful today, while I also held a door open for a girl in Highcross as i'm a nice guy But that man on the great central way was truly weird, a bit like the time I was walking down Charles Street and this gay man walked towards me, started walking like Louie Spence, then as he walked towards me he started staring at me while sucking his thumb. Leicester is truly full of freaks.
  11. Heat dominated, watched a bit online last night, and I think Ray Allen's first touch of the basketball in a Miami jersey against his former team, resulted in a 3 pointer, what a way to start. Watched a bit of the opening two quarters of Washington @ Cleveland as well, Kyrie Irving will be a major handful this season, only game one but he looked absolute quality in parts.
  12. Yes they are showing games, but the schedule may be wrong, because a Dallas pre season game wasn't listed down to be shown, yet ESPN showed it. The first games on ESPN if the schedules are all correct is on the 2nd November, those games being... Miami Heat @ New York Knicks LA Clippers @ LA Lakers
  13. Yep NBA season starts tonight. Washington @ Cleveland Boston @ Heat Dallas @ LA Lakers Some big names ruled out for their respective games tonight, John Wall out for Washington, Dallas missing Nowitzki and Kaman, while Bryant is touch and go for Lakers.
  14. And enjoyed KingFox's afternoon banter...
  15. I'm definitely on it, but I don't want to sit at the front, because I get travel sick.

    Keith Vaz

They probably use that word often, so they know how to spell it properly. Poor you, house next door to me is for sale off Narborough Road.

    Keith Vaz

Well it is New Parks, so no real surprise to see it spelt wrong

Unlucky Vaseline Vaz, one of the most disliked people in Leicester along with Soulsby.
  19. Good end to the season, also seen Joseph and Jones have been released. So no Du Toit, Malik, Joseph, Jones and Jefferson for next season so far.
  20. Good post, we need new signings but just haven't got the money. Jefferson needs replaced, haven't replaced Taylor properly can't really count Sarwan as a replacement, while the bowling attack is weak, sometimes its dangerous then sometimes it performs shit.
  21. Derbyshire have a better bowling attack than us, Joseph only had one good month, Hoggard is getting on, Malik has ended up being released, Rob Taylor has looked good with bat and ball but hasn't featured in all forms of the game, Henderson has been useful but is now 40, while Sykes and Buck haven't been able to breakthrough properly unlike Harry Gurney who was a major loss to Notts. Derbyshire bowling attack is dangerous and consistent, Palladino, Groeneweld, Clare, Wainwright etc... Think Leicestershire main positives this season is the performance of some youngsters, Thakor looks a quality player, Rob Taylor has done well, Josh Cobb will be vital if we can keep hold, while Eckersley looks to be the future in the wicket keeping department. We simply don't have the money to challenge, and our bowling attack isn't good enough, and don't do a consistent job.
  22. When push comes to shove Murray has had a great year in the major tournaments and that's all that matters. He did well in Australia, Roland Garros was always going to be his hardest, Wimbledon final, Olympic Gold and Silver medal and now US Champion. My top three would be Farah, Ennis and Murray but don't know which order. Farah is just an amazing athlete, two gold medals is an incredible feat he is also a very respected guy aswell. Ennis deserves to be in top three, poster girl, gold medal and a Woman deserves top three, get overlooked too many times. Murray great year in Majors, Gold Medal and Grand Slam Champion, just awesome. No doubt Wiggins will be in top three though and will probably win, but I can't stand the bloke, seems so cocky and arrogant.
  23. Thanks for restoring one of the most historic threads ever.
  24. I hate it whenever Murray loses a point, he then suddenly looked knackered or holds one of his muscles. Has suffered from heat at the US before anyway, Semis beckon now, Raonic is overrated and Cilic is dangerous but nothing special.
  25. And ended her career. One of the best players in the Women's game ever, getting her career ended by a Brit is even more unreal.
