In a season with a tonne of contenders that's probably the lowest quality half of football all year - and possibly all time, I struggle to see how you can have less than that really.

Got high expectations for this match thread. Consistently delivered great content all season. If only the club were capable of such levels.

Most of them seem to have a good opening couple of games. Cifuentes won 3 in 4. Van Nistelrooy got 4 points from his first 2. Even Cooper got a respectable opening result (although in hindsight I'm not sure actually). Invariably it goes to pot. I wasn't fooled by the Stoke game - huge two dropped and surprise surprise, these draws have killed us.

If we had kept ourselves at any sort of decent level we'd have had a real shot at winning it with the way the format has changed. Now we're playing Cambridge United in a league game.

Porto are comfortably better than them and totally fumbled it. Villa are the last chance. I don't trust the other two.
