My opinion of Nelson goes down every game that he doesn't hand in a transfer request.

By the way - any Cifuentes bashing from me is absolutely not an endorsement of those above him. But I've seen enough already to know that even if the circumstances were right, he wouldn't be. This is a genuinely hard job. It is crap. You've got a squad of shite being paid about 4x what they're worth and bosses who are totally inept in actually moving any of them on. But he doesn't have no options - he's the one going for the old guard and aiding the declining value of our increasingly few players of any potential value. He's the one who is coaching virtually no decent phases of play. He's got a crap hand and I don't think there are a load of managers waiting in the wings to make this whole thing click properly, but he is making a pigs ear of this. I genuinely don't know what the positives even are under him so far. Lack of squad churn, crap, ineffective football. Just nothing. I don't think Van Nistelrooy would be doing worse than this, and he was a ****ing joke. Cifuentes - not the answer. I've seen enough. No point persisting.

They're ultimately the symptoms. Players have absolutely no incentive to perform here - paid ridiculously above the odds wages with ridiculously lengthy contracts to boot, pally with the owner who just wants some 'famous' mates. This club got stupidly arrogant and no matter how many times they're humbled they never change. Most pigheaded club in football. I really think that they're arrogant enough to just think they can breeze back to where things were and that all of this decline is just part of the journey. They think they're too big to care about a players character. They think they're above that. This isn't even necessarily a toxic group of players. We said similar about the 2022/23 squad but a number of them have got their careers back on track after leaving the cesspit that is Aiyawatt's Leicester. There are absolutely no standards at the club. Winks having the captaincy after how he's behaved this year - absolute joke but we're all so used to the club being dragged through the mud that nobody even bits an eyelid at it anymore. Leicester City in 2025 represent basically everything bad with football nowadays. I've never felt this low about this club in my life.
