True. There is probably something in what was said in here about Whelan. She was flawed but she probably patched up the sheer level we're actually dealing with here somewhat.

Winks should not be tolerated. Clubs with any self-respect (ie not us) wouldn't. How should we respond? By hounding out the symptoms and letting people know we don't tolerate the dismantling of the club. To not treat a bloke who hasn't started a PL win in half a decade like he's above us.

Even if we fluke survival this season it would only assure Aiyawatt to carry on as normal. We'd be down next season for sure.
