  1. Unfortunately we lost to Blackburn and Middlesbrough as well.
  2. If he somehow spawns Chelsea out of this I just do not see the point anymore. Saudi Arabia next.
  3. It's crap for fans, absolute pain in the arse to get anywhere. Probably doesn't help that our boxing day record since I've been following is surely as bad as basically anyone.
  4. Fundamentally it is everything wrong with Leicester. Absolutely soft as shit we are.
  5. That statement is fantastic. It's about time someone stuck that on him. Highlights again what a soft and weak club we are under this owner though.
  6. Boxing day football extremely overrated.
  7. Which I've been able to do without handing money to King Power for what it's worth.
  8. My hand was forced but in all honesty it's for the best because I'd have probably renewed, and I highly doubt I'd be bothering with this weekends game if I could. Genuinely prefer to sit in the pub. It really has been a bit of an eye opener. Won't be getting another season ticket under this ownership, that is a promise.
  9. He isn't a good manager. He gets his own way and then throws his toys out of the pram when he gets found out. He's a complete fraud.
  10. I want him completely binned but I'm increasingly convinced Faes is actually a midfielder. He's clearly not a terrible footballer, but he's barely got a defensive bone in his body. Funnily enough it's his defensive deficiencies that put me off playing him in midfield
  11. Imagine if there was the self-respect here to do this. No chance though. We are weak at the core.
  12. just catching up with this thread and this is absolutely gold. The bloke is absolutely shameless. "Honda Civic" while managing Celtic against DUNDEE. God he's awful. How do people fall for him.
  13. He's the most slippery bloke in football isn't he? I'd be seriously excited seeing this as a Hearts fan. He initiated his exit from us when it was pretty obvious we were going to go down so he was better off cutting his losses and getting out there. Even to this day some people actually believe he'd have kept us up - hilariously. Now he's done it again because this is less embarrassing than finishing 2nd behind Hearts. He must think there's a real chance now. Bloke's a fraud and a coward.
  14. The more I think about this the more I think it's another loss.
  15. Gun to my head I would say no we won't go down, but I think a loss on Saturday, which the more I think about it the more I can see happening, then I'd think we actually can. We don't do anything well and we're going to be docked some of the few points we actually have. This lot have already shown zero stomach for the fight. They'll not gave a single shit when there's a few jeers at the end - it's normality to them. There is a culture of losing and failure at this club in 2025. Luckily only two spots to play for. Sheffield United have picked up a little and should be OK. Norwich look bizarrely dreadful. Southampton I can't really work out - they have deep problems themselves but at least they can at least point to having some more encouraging performances than us, despite their dreadful league position. Oxford, Portsmouth and Derby much of a muchness - all limited but stubborn teams as we have already found out. Swansea are a dark horse to go down I think. They look pretty rubbish - they even managed to let in 3 to us. Stranger things have happened.
  16. He'll now be shifted to number 10 with Ramsey's absence and we make way for 'Bouba'. This only gets worse.
  17. Yep - you got a pretty positive vibe about Maresca early days. He was flawed in many ways but there was far more to buy into than what I've seen under Cifuentes so far. I expected him to have a bit more about him but then was I being way too kind? His career while varied is pretty unremarkable.
  18. This is Cifuentes' way back for me - I hear buzz words like rebuild and stability without any substance to them. If they become substantiated I can probably overlook some of what's taking place. As it is currently we get the worst of both worlds. If Aluko can't get in this team now, when on earth will he?
  19. Right so therefore the manager is totally irrelevant and they might as well appoint one of us who would (probably) command a smaller wage than Cifuentes to save money, if I have this right.
  20. Fair point about the striker really and the Ramsey chance posted is a quite good example of it. Far from convinced just a new striker fixes our attack though and also far from convinced we'll actually sign a good one. There are lesser resourced sides and poorer teams on paper that create more than us. Even worse is that this isn't exactly coming as a consequence of a solid defence either.
  21. Wednesday have had it worse than us but they haven't fallen as far and nor do they pay wages (well at all!) as ridiculous as ours. We could fall even harder if not careful.
  22. I'm not quite at the point where I think we'll go down but I'm far nearer than I thought I'd be. All Aiyawatt knows is decline - if anybody can get relegated against the odds it'll be us. If the deduction is harsh, we are right in it. 1 win in 8 and can't score goals. Blackburn has the potential to be a new low under this regime and you can see a loss.
  23. If that isn't at all on the manager then there's no point having a manager.
  24. Bamford would completely flop here as well. The strikers are bad he wouldn't flourish here, could nearly guarantee that.
  25. Didn't watch the game myself but have watched highlights and looked at the stats - don't think we really created a great deal looking at that. What's quite alarming to me is that often even during our 'good' periods in games, the first halves v Wrexham & Portsmouth, yesterdays first 15 or so, is that we don't actually force a great deal going forward. We're still not racking up the chance creation but more just keeping the ball. We don't suffer many attacks but when we do they're often fatal. Worryingly Stolarczyk's shot stopping numbers are basically the best in the division.
