I'm all ears for suggestions on a team that is worse compared to the money the squad is paid than this. Best suggestions were the likes of Wolves, West Ham (Premier League money obviously skews this) but I don't think they're quite on this level. It's completely extraordinary what's going on here. I remember having plenty of arguments on here early season saying we were in a massively false position, think it was after we beat Swansea. Well to be honest, I still think it's true. It's gradually gotten worse as things have gone on, but you only had to have a pretty basic knowledge of performance data to know that we were probably a bottom six performing team being carried by individual quality. As soon as that individual quality is gone - well. The fact we're even still 14th is baffling to me.
