  1. The top two news articles on BBC 5-Live at the moment are, 1: the deportation of the accidently released sex offender, and 2: the murder by an Afghan in Uxbridge. Jamaica and Gaza come afterwards.
  2. It is. I got a letter today from DWP saying that I was to get £100 WFA. Hooray Turned over the page to be informed that HMRC will be taking it back as I'm over the £35k threshold. Boooo
  3. Apparently she was too ill to attend the court hearing. Not sure if that would've helped or hindered the defendants. Ive never watched the Lost King but it seems that no one will be able to see it now until the key parts are changed as agreed in the settlement. No sympathy for Steve Coogan especially after that car crash interview with Ben Jacobs on Radio Leicester.
  4. Richard Taylor wins major settlement against Steve Coogan and Pathe Productions in landmark defamation case https://www.lboro.ac.uk/media-centre/press-releases/2025/october/taylor-coogan-settlement/?fbclid=IwdGRjcANsRRFjbGNrA2xE8mV4dG4DYWVtAjExAAEexheR2jTN1Jnc1NxnF4NZTLbezzaLTD3aX1kZyDDuyTXSC9zrxsuArAx0fAU_aem_xSlnVjYVXt7t8t89eFyPng
  5. Tidying your sock drawer? I'm taking my library books back.
  6. As a fanbase we used to be good in adversity even if it was just trying to get Pleat or Barrie Pierpoint out. Now, we can't be arsed. Boredom has taken over. The fire in our bellies has gone out, on the pitch and off and in the boardroom. We've lost our mojo and don't know how we will ever get it back. Alarm bells should be ringing but no one can be bothered to trigger them. Sad.
  7. Marti Marti sort it out.
  8. Probably happens quite often except this one is high profile. Embarrassing. Last seen heading into London to no doubt get a false name. If only we had identity cards. Inside job or just incompetence? The enquiry is going to be interesting.
  9. Just the same as gifting any property or wealth, not only farms. Our solicitor advised against doing it probably thinking that I won't live for another 7-years!
  10. They usually are although one lives next door to me and he's alright. I've even just done his recycling bins for him.
  11. Easy to say looking from the outside but I'm sure that I would've identified two of the three Traitors on day one. As they aren't all strangers to each other and know their personalities they just needed to think who the producers would choose to best entertain the audience. Not the quiet, thoughtful ones but the likes of Jonathan Ross and Alan Carr. Simples.
  12. A fit Mavididi will be a bonus. Don't know if he's available.
  13. Thank you @ClaphamFox for taking the time to explain that better than I could've done. Perhaps it's because of my my simplistic world view.
  14. FFS
  15. Are you David Lammy or the fruit cake from the Monster Raving Greens?
  16. Yes and yes. It's all about biology and making a stand (in the first question) for women's rights. A biological male should not be in women only spaces however they present. If the toilet isn't marked by sex then its most probably a single room to be used by one person at a time.
  17. Bit like the Captain Pugwash thing.
  18. There was another cricket one involving players .... Rice bowls and Paddy fields. I think the players were Clive Rice and Paddy Clift.
  19. Unless they are biologically female then certainly not in a toilet marked women. That's just creepy.
  20. Which one? City or The City?
  21. They're just speed running Leicester's 10 yrs in 2yrs but without actually winning anything to show for it.
  22. You spin me right round...
