  1. Not sure that we can send him back. Could be another Edouard situation. We never learn.
  2. I absolutely will NOT pay it. Was going to get a ticket in a home stand but won't be giving any money to those theiving bastards.
  3. Robbing bastards. Into the home seats it is then
  4. Wasn't the most spectacular but the 'best' for me was Vardy's 11 in 11. I had an out of body experience after that.
  5. According to Sky Sports, Abdul Fatawu's goal was the longest successful scoring shot on record for the Championship at 65.2 metres.
  6. 7 minutes stoppage time
  7. Oddly coincided with Winks being dropped
  8. Right, yer twats, concentrate, focus and be aggressive from the first seconds. You don't need to be told. Not having it again. Get into them!!!!!!!!!!
  9. 3 in 3 for Bobby!!!
  10. How much more do we need to hear that Liverpool's current problems are because they are still grieving for Jota? Dion Dublin and Chappers going on about it on 5Live. Give it a rest. Is this why Wolves are so shite?
  11. Ipswich are one of those clubs that are media darlings due to some success decades ago. Nonentities in reality such as the likes of Sunderland, Notts Forest and even Cov.
  12. Kasey McAteer to come on as late sub and score the winner.... but doesn't celebrate. Or George Hirst.
  13. That must be very upsetting for Russia... shame. BBC News - Russia hits back at Europe's big plan to loan Moscow's frozen cash to Ukraine - BBC News https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c98nnd01g91o
  14. We all knew that and Marti claims to have spoken about it during the break. So it's unfathomable why the players were like rabbits in the headlights when the predictable started. It's happening too often, there's a problem, and it's not just the start of the second 45 either (see Sheff Utd). It's a collective mindset that's been going on for yonks and everyone can see it other than, it seems, the only ones that can do anyyhing about it. So bleedin' frustrating.
  15. No excuses for lack of fitness considering the 'world class' facilities we have at Seagrave.
  16. Still there, up in the corner under a big advert for Thatchers. Loud drum(s) and some flag waving but couldn't really hear them. Could hear the players in the first half but things obviously got a bit more excitable in the second. Only heard come on you reds a couple of times when the fans in the home end chirped up. We didn't have the numbers to make much difference but the usual songbook got rolled out. I fell backwards over my seat when Bobby scored.
  17. Sounds like the sort of minor niggle that turns into an operation and two months off-sick. Hoping the 'Welshman' is ok for his/our sake and that Ramsey comes back fit and well very soon. Anticipating a flu outbreak at Seagrave just in time for Christmas and New Year.
  18. We can talk about tactics, or lack of, but our players were either unable or unwilling to match the determination and tanacity of the Bristol City players. They were first to every lose ball and worked their socks off to create threats. Everything seemed to fall their way from the first seconds of the second half due to them forcing the play and gaining momentum. Cliche alert: they wanted it more. And we are simply don't have the strength of character to counter it. Only positive is that we didn't lose, although it doesn't feel like it.
  19. I don't know Patson Daka personally but he comes across as a really top lad in interviews. I like him. However, as a footballer, not so much. Last night was on another level. No more, please. Enough.
  20. They initially wanted to build a new stadium in Ashton Vale, only about a couple of 100 yards away, but couldn't beat the planning system. What they have now is the best they could do on their current site with lower capacity. The away stand can't be developed due to residential houses close by but the rest of the stadium is pretty decent, although I wouldn't fancy watching from the upper deck of that massive stand on our right (perhaps better for the rugger). I didn't notice the rugby lines on the pitch like the last time we were there but it's a shame that's it's become a multi purpose stadium. The pop up bars and food stalls are brilliant outside. All that said, the atmosphere is pretty much dead like most modern and redeveloped stadiums.

  22. As posted above, check with the folks on the buses when they arrive. They sometimes have spares.
