I feel more confident of getting a result with Rowett in place (given he's only been here a few weeks) compared to Cifuentes around end of last year. Might seem an odd take given the lack of points so far, but I see us being far more organised and well set than I do when Cifuentes was here. The trouble is, the damage has already been done. Way before Rowett came in. Bringing Rowett in so late was like trying to get the Titanic back to full functionality even though half of it was snapped off and into the water.

But why would such a manager leave a playoff chasing/promotion chasing team to go to a team destined for League One I'm all for being ambitious, but what's more likely to happen is getting an up and coming manager from League One or Two as opposed to getting a manager from someone at a club destined for better things higher than us in the league.

Could have easily been such a different outcome. Luckily the passerby called Police and that the weapons didn't get into the wrong hands. Cynical (very cynical I admit) part of me thinks it was left on purpose outside the mayor's home?

That won't be the difference. It's a legit goal and there are several other moments and individuals that have collectively attributed to being relegated. Damage is well and truly done well before this goal was given.
