While this may be true, a referee refusing to send a player off for a free kick is not determined by how the style of a teams play is. It's just standard officiating. There literally is no excuse for the referee failing to send Seri off. It's one of the most obvious yellow cards (his 2nd) he could have given out. The fact he went to initially do it and then changed his mind is where it becomes really dodgy. What was the cause for the sudden change in decision? What is the motive there?
