  1. Be interesting to see how many actually stick? Wonder what kind of lawyers the club have to potentially fight this, and if we'll 'lawyer up' with other clubs too...? True. Perhaps we're banking on that. While there's nothing concrete, it does make you worry to a certain extent.
  2. How much would we need to get in through player sales before end of June to even have a sniff of being okay for next season? Would we even have the capacity to do that? And what is our likely budget to be for incoming players from July onwards whether we're in PL or not?
  3. Wouldn't bank on it!
  4. Yeah I remember going up towards that way and there's some huge houses where it's known that footballers live there.
  5. Kasper lived in Manchester as well didn't he?
  6. What makes you think they'll entertain such thoughts or questions?
  7. And also have to sell players to those big six to 'protect the brand' and because those clubs don't get punished.
  8. I don't think our club works like other businesses do.
  9. West Brom done well with the Johnston signing. Might see them through into the playoffs with ease the way he's playing.
  10. Club doing the equivalent of 'play like this and we'll be fine'.
  11. Not at all similar. Much more contact on KDH than there was for the Sunderland player.
  12. I'm worried that he played yesterday when he wasn't fully fit, but Maresca brought him on anyway. Hope there's no recurrence of injuries that leaves him out longer. Need all the bodies and experience at this time.
  13. Hopefully bunch up their games later down the line.
  14. To me a dive is where there's no contact and player still goes down. What the Sunderland player did above is just theatrical, and exaggerated. Choudhury puts his hand on him and slightly pulls him back. Not to say their player had to go down like that, but it's still a stupid risk to take from Choudhury. Another ref gives that and there's not really much we could moan about. We'd direct our anger to the ref but it's Hamza who gives the ref a choice to make. Ref doesn't book him because he probably sees the contact but it's not enough to warrant a foul. Which is ironic because loads of us, myself included, were berating him all game for all the soft fouls he was giving saying it's a contact sport

    Budget 2024

Not sure what's worse. Hunt thinking that this is in the interests of everyone and not just the self-serving, or those that will still vote for the party thinking he's done them a favour financially...
  16. Bloody hell. Hope everyone is okay if anyone is there or was affected.
  17. It's ridiculous. Usually it's like that for the playoffs at this stage where any few of 10/11 teams could conceivably make it. But I don't remember seeing it this close at this stage for the relegation battle.
  18. Would SGSA have the authority or ability to do that? Logic would dictate it gets incorporated as part of the expansion, but who knows when that will be?
  19. Stoke the latest club to incorporate safe standing from next season. I'm guessing our club are still dragging their feet on this...
  20. FA Cup weekend and then internationals.
