  1. Don't forget to get a octopus referral code if you do switch to them, both parties get £50 credit if you do. With this in mind, anyone who has there energy with shell energy, you are gonna be transferred to octopus soon anyway so may as well transfer now with a referral and get the £50 in your account 👍 Edit: here's my referral code if anyone wants it https://share.octopus.energy/mint-seal-498
  2. It's not like the vote actually changes anything in Gaza and it is a very complex situation. He probably didn't want to detail the meeting from other issues, as you say, many have a viewpoint and are not prepared to debate the issue. It's frustrating that people on both sides can't recognise the complexities of the situation and that there is no easy answer to resolve the issues
  3. I'm in the same boat, trying to recruit is nightmare. I've got up to 3 positions available so I called 12 candidates yesterday, only 4 answered, one spent more time telling me about all his health issues and why this job wouldn't be suitable, the other 3 I'll interview on Monday. That was from an original pool of about 50 applications. I left messages where possible with the other 8 but no return calls so far.
  4. Anyone got a stream, mines buffering every 5 seconds😭
  5. I'm in a similar boat, was sure he was gonna be Tom Carroll mark 2. Happy to be wrong though, he's bossing it
  6. This is literally next door to where I work 🤣🤣🤣
  7. Any got a stream, mines just died
  8. What am I missing?
  9. I read an article on this earlier and it pissed me off tbh, as well as the obvious issues as already mentioned above, the PFA were quoted as saying that it's time something was done to protect its biggest asset...the players. **** off! The biggest asset is always the fans, and those overpaid bunch of babies need a little realism in their lives.
  10. Thanks for sharing this, I was lucky enough to see Peter green in de montford (iirc) in around 2002. Amazing guitarist and I love the early Fleetwood Mac stuff and certainly lived a very interesting life. Will give this a watch 👍
  11. I was at a conference last week and he was giving a talk, I've never listened to his podcast but I gotta say he was very good, right on point, had done his research and really tied his message into the wider company message. Surprised me as I just knew him as the bloke off the TV. Maybe, just maybe, he's found a passion for something that he finds alot more fulfilling, unless of completely missed something from the original post, all he's doing is sharing that. Maybe we should let him do his thing as it's working for some, and if it's not for you then ignore it. Not sure why there's a need to belittle someone trying to improve other people's lives
  12. Unless you have more.money than sense, fulfilled means you saw a spec on the stage miles away. For the price paid as well, the stones are one of my worst ever gigs. Sure I'm glad I saw em, but it wasn't the experience it should have been. Wouldn't go again.
  13. Just getting into the far from saints album. Always loved the stereophonics and I'd say he's one of the best vocalists of his generation, so always worth a listen to anything he's in.
  14. "most parliamentary researchers aren't Chinese spies"
