  1. Could be our wage budget? Don't wanna be handing out massive contracts again this year
  2. He had photos of a boy aged between 7-9, he's a ****ing wrong un
  3. Personally think the junior drs pay rise is about right. It's staggered over a total three years I believe (last year, this year and next year). They work alot of hours in a very important and demanding role. It's a much needed shot in the arm for the profession tbh
  4. Hard days graft might be exactly what he needs for his mind. Better than sitting at home wondering what the **** to do with himself
  5. Let's be honest, so much is done and agreed with agents behind the scenes before a bid is even submitted, that is soule had zero interest in joining us, we wouldn't have even bothered bidding. Roma may be his first choice and surely anyone with a brain could understand some of the reasons why that may be the case, but it doesn't mean he is dead set against a move to Leicester. Depends what the clubs can agree, right now he's sitting back and waiting to see what options he has.
  6. I read somewhere recently that our old fitness coach under Sousa, Nelson Jardim, is now manager of Newport County. Along with Chris Davies at Brum, a few interesting ex staff across the leagues.
  7. Also... "I know some people will say I've brought stuff on myself, and you're right... But trust me, I wouldn't be writing all this if I wasn't at a point where I need some guidance." **** those people. Shit can happen to anybody in life and sometimes finances can spiral out of control. Don't be ashamed, just get yourself back in the best place you can 👍
  8. What stan said above, go to the cab and go through things with a debt expert who can actually advise you properly. I used to do some basic debt counselling in a previous job, even then, if it was a more severe situation such as yours we would always refer to CAB as they have staff with much more expertise. Whatever you do, don't fall for one of these 'we'll put all your repayments into one easy and affordable repayment' jobs, won't actually help you get out of debt and take their cut out of any payment you make, prolonging the issue. What I used to do is act on behalf of people in debt, create a budget which detailed their income and outgoings, and whatever was spare would essentially be shared around the creditors, if they couldn't afford anything we would offer £1 a month token payment. Whilst this wouldn't necessarily help clear the debt, it would stop it getting any bigger as interest would also be stopped. It's been a while since I did this, and I worked with students, so the expections were that they would end up in a situation where they could afford to pay more in the future but my point is, speak to an expert and you'd be amazed what they can help with.
  9. I can't be bothered to click on the link and see what the rest of the tweet says, but i assume it's: * Badenoch said that Sunak's decision to call an early election without informing his Cabinet was a mistake… ...Because it meant they couldn't bet on the outcome as well.
  10. Reading suellas speech is in stark contrast to the largely positive grown up start to government by the Labour party. It's amazing really the difference between the two parties and shows why we need a labour government right now
  11. TripAdvisor review: Bruges was a stunning city and the weather was stunning. Bruges really blooms in July. Only downside was the Christmas market was shit and i couldn't even get one glass of mulled wine or mead.
  12. I don't think he's going now
  13. Only done Prague but thoroughly enjoyed it. Proper cold too 👍

With all the politics flying around, and as a centre lefty, I've been trying to educate and understand the right point of view a little. I might not agree, but it's hard to have a proper conversation and discussion. So I've started watching clips of GB news on YouTube and I think I'm addicted. It's so ****ing bad, they talk complete horseshit, and it makes me so angry to watch it, but it's like some kind of anger therapy and I can't stop 🤣🤣
  15. I'm finding all this talk of Reform splitting the vote on the right quite funny, isn't that effectively what has happened with the lib dems, greens and labour on left. Another party one the right has just levelled the playing field. Obviously the Tories have hemorrhaged votes because of the last 14 years as well as that but it actually makes for a fairer race imo.
  16. Loughborough goes labour
  17. **** you Rees mogg
  18. Pennys gone!
  19. North west Leicestershire goes to labour
  20. Wasn't there a Peterborough player said to be nailed on last year's then never happened. Can't remember who off the top of my head but it seems all too familiar
  21. That's not what he said at all, if he had I'd have agreed with him. I even mentioned the Iraq war as something I didn't agree with. But as others have said, it was hardly a pile on, but I think one particularly comment was so far wide of the mark a few people, myself included jumped on it.
  22. Absolutely disgusted this took till page 3. Foxes Talk, your slipping!
  23. You are the one that keeps bringing up smashing up bus stops which as someone who's never seen any kids smashing up a bus stop, seems a bit random to me. I used riots as an example to try and give some comparison to when people in society have felt the need to completely kick off, regardless of the reasoning. That felt a bit more quantifiable and a little less in your head. I'd put it to you, that all of the riots and there reasons could probably be tracked back to government policy and how the establishment made these people feel disenfranchised with their own society. I have also never carried a knife or gun, never rioted and never smashed up my local community. I'm probably 10 years younger than you and I would intervene if I saw kids smashing up a bus stop or destroying public property, but maybe that's just me.
  24. You keep talking about kids smashing up bus stops. I don't know if you've been scared by a previous incident in your life but it's interesting starting point. I've taken your kids smashing up bus stops and taken it a step further to think about some of the times their have been major riots in this country. Numerous riots in the 80s, poll tax riots in the early 90s and then most recently the riots in 2011. What have every single one of those times got in common in regards to the government? That's right they were all Tory governments and this spans the last 40 years. So maybe it's got less to do with liberal policy and procedure like you think and more to do with governments cutting back the services that support those who have a more challenging start to life. I can also tell you feel very strongly that you would never have done something like that in your day. Maybe not, but maybe others in the country at that time would have done something similar. My father in law for example who's in his 70s has told me numerous times how him and his friends used to set the local common on fire every summer. Not smashing up a bus stop but certainly comparable. My point is, labour aren't perfect, I'm happy to give them shit for the Iraq war for example, but suggesting the problems that occured during Tory rule was because of previous labour policy (which they could have changed if they'd wanted) is completely disingenuous and you need to give your head a wobble in my opinion.
  25. I have to say col, that this post makes your obsession with lee cattermole and JET back in the day look sane. There's statistical evidence out there that shows we were better off under labour than the Tory government before and after it. Even post financial crash, we'd have been better off with labours fiscal model (as shown in other EU countries) compared to the Tory austerity. Brexit would have never happened either. As others have said, the torys won the battle on rhetoric, and as an electorate we gave them power. The biggest crime in it all was then getting the majority in 2015. Ed milliband would have been much better but let's not forget how he eats a ****ing bacon sarnie. And people kept lapping it up and voting Tory, even though the writing was on the wall.
