  2. Attacks do happen most days and leave their mental or physical marks sadly. As I say you can't live your life in fear of it though. But sorry but I don't understand how the response to someone going about their daily life being attacked, is to strike fear and damage to property of people also going about their daily lives. People who had nothing to do with the original incident. Like you I'm not surprised because we live in a country moronic idiots. None of this takes away the concern I now feel for a family member living through this chaos, a concern that wasn't there when a lone lunatic was arrested after stabbing someone.
  3. My girlfriends daughter lives in Belfast. I'm genuinely more concerned for her safety after all this violence and rioting than I ever was after the stabbing incident. Unfortunately isolated incidents of people physically attacking people happen every day, the perpetrators being of all different colours and from UK and abroad. If we live our lives in fear of those things we'd never leave the house. But widespread violence, disorder, rioting, and disruption are different and create a horrible environment in any town or city. Is that what the people who did this wanted to achieve? To scare people and worry families? I understand if people are upset, but there is never an excuse for large scale disorder. You can take to streets in numbers and make your voices heard without causing massive damage and fear.

  6. I think this is fair. People have mentioned earlier about looking at various incidents, but as you say, if they need to do that, was it clear and obvious to the referee. VAR either needs to completely rereferee the game or it needs to take a quick look to see if there's anything obvious. Right now it's trying to do both and not working.
  7. Maybe it's just my definition of what clear and obvious should mean, but whilst I know what you are saying about looking at numerous fouls, surely clear and obvious should be something you can reasonably expect the referee to spot, and easily spot after a couple of replays. If you have to watch it over 10 times, start looking at 3 or 4 different incidents, spend ages trying to determine which foul occurred first by slowing it down to frame by frame, then surely it's not clear and obvious. It's not something you'd reasonably expect the referee to spot with the naked eye.
  8. Disgusting messages from Alex Jiminez. Bournemouth have reacted better than Sunderland did when Adam Johnson was in a similar situation, and have suspended him. I expect him to be playing for Marsaille next season.
  9. Who's the co-commentator? He was adamant it wasn't a goal, then when it was given starts quoting the offside laws
  10. Has Murphy actually had the lead at any point in this final? Just has not leading until the decider written all over it.

  12. Nothing against Xintong, great player and seems a nice guy, but i hope anyone else but him wins. Love the Crucible Curse, and the fact that it doesn't matter if you're one of the greats who won it multiple times or a one off winner, nobody has defended it first time round. Whether is a first round loss, or you get to the final like Ken Doherty did, nobody can get over the line the year after their first win. Really want to curse to continue.
  13. Been in the office today. What did he do?
