Feb 4th 12th Wrexham (A) 5-1 defeat on TV. Get someone in who has no transfer window and say you want the title or bust.

Does this mean we don't think Preki is available?

Starting to feel like we have tunnelled out of from under Fred West's patio and ended up Josef Fritzl basement....

Humphrey Ker, the executive director of Wrexham, was on Chris Moyles on Radio X this morning and gave a flat no to them signing Vardy and they are not looking at him. 2 hours 22ish if you want to hear it on catch up.

Pain in the arse for a few places I went. Hungary and Montenegro stick out as 2 of them waiting over an hour

I see the programmes, flags and clappers are working their way onto eBay now. Best one I saw so far is someone has printed off the photo took by one of the press, framed it and stuck it on Ebay for £40

He can finally hook up with Preki. It was all written in the stars.

Was really hoping they were retiring the #9. Wonder why they decided not to.

Jamie Vardy: A Legend's Final Home Appearance
ramboacdc replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Damned if they do or don't in this case though. If they didn't mention anything or do anything to acknowledge it people would be kicking up a fuss. All they are saying here is their mid fan zone will be open, the shop is open, you will get a flag and to stay after the game. Hardly forced fun to have the players do a lap at the end of the season, this is just the same but will have something for Vards. -
Went into the game thinking we didn't really stand much of a chance to be honest, but if you don't buy a ticket... Hoped for the best and kept the usual supersticious routines. When Tielemans scored, I can't remember much. I was off the sofa and next thing I remember I was in the kitchen . Same happened the night Hazard scored for Chelsea, only difference was that I scared the F out the cat and she didn't come home for a day. Chillwell boiled my piss with his celebration. I was so happy once it was twigged as offside. It's always the same with VAR. It's shite when it goes against you or wastes time in a game, but when it goes for you it's the best thing ever. And then the following season on the same day we were getting stuffed 3-0 by Liverpool at home on our way to relegation with Dean Smith trying to rearrange the deckchairs on the Titanic.

Jamie Vardy: A Legend's Final Home Appearance

I would be surprised if he did play. Only way I think he would is if he didn't score on Sunday. Then again, with Ruud, it is 50/50 he picks him for Sunday. -
Forest 2-2 LCFC, post-match thread
ramboacdc replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Wasn't it around this time last year he released that random statement that the ref was a fan of the other team? That statement is something up there that Trump would have his guys write. Hope Chelsea or Villa get that 5th Champions league spot. Let them play in the Europa farmers league and watch him soon get bored and sell up or crash the gaff -
The fact Danny Ward is not on this shortlist is a goddamn tragedy

Chindits rings a bell. Thanks for that

My great grandad on my mums side was in the royal navy and served on the HMS Glenroy on D-Day, which I was able to see delivered soldiers to Gold Beach for sure on the day. My grandma says she remembers him telling stories of having the yanks onboard and them turning their hammocks inside out. He recalled everything from his navy days even after his mind started to go, even to the point of remembering that on D-Day they had to be towed back to Portsmouth as they hit a mine. I did some digging and found out that apparently a torpedo may have missed the front of the ship by a few feet and could have changed our family history entirely. My grandma was born 4 days after VE day. My mum said apparently my great grandma was slightly annoyed at that as she would have got a free pram if it was on VE day itself. I believe I have the telegram that was sent to my great grandad letting him know his first child had been done. I 100% have a photo of it, along with a lot more of his navy day stuff. My dads side is harder to trace as my dad was the youngest of by some distance in his family. My cousins are 20 odd years older than me because of it, so they died when I was still rather young. My dad says one of his uncles was deployed to Asia, dropped behind enemy lines in the jungle and told to just disrupt and cause havoc as much as they could. I can't remember the name for them.

I forgot we were playing until the club text me asking me to buy tickets. Tomorrow I may watch the Championship. 2 doors down is a Derby fan and his little snotnose kids were screaming with delight in the garden the other day. I want to hear them cry tomorrow when all the results go against them. Apart from that, F1 is warning up nicely and I am sure my wife will find something I have forgot to do for the past 6 months that needs doing.

Leo and Shinji benched for Youri. Like it.

Wrexham will go for him for the name and the revenue from shirt sales only. It will be the enterance into that Hollywood story BS and make a good episode of Welcome to Wrexham. It wouldn't be for footballing resons though. He may get a sub in a game, but they will not bounce into the Championship and be in the top 6 like Mac probably thinks they will. 18 in the Championship 2 seasons ago doesn't mean he will get 18 this season. If he wants football, Wrexham isn't the place to go. Would love to see him go back Fleetwood, but I know it will be Wrexham or Birmingham as they will throw money at the wall for him.

"Opposition fans, naturally, are somewhat less enamoured with our No.9. His 148 goals for us have come against 48 different clubs, at home and abroad, and he’s always let them know.
