weller54 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 It could come down to survival being decided by goal difference!... Sunderland 's took a hiding today and we're looking half decent on that front!
Guest Bilo Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 It could come down to survival being decided by goal difference!... Sunderland 's took a hiding today and we're looking half decent on that front! Yep, and I imagine that, on paper at least, we're the least likely of the bottom few clubs to take a pasting that would damage our GD. Not losing by two or more goals up to this point is starting to look crucial.
st albans fox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Those that have continually dissed us not getting battered by anyone have always overlooked the fact that this will be worth a point should it come to a tight finish.
Unabomber Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Goal difference is effectively another point, so it could be vital.
weller54 Posted 11 April 2015 Author Posted 11 April 2015 Only Hull of the team's we're chasing have a better goal difference than us....
Bagworthblue Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 i noticed this tonight as i haven't dared look at the table recently but wanted to tonight :-) I thought we would be worse than our fellow relegationees but happy to see we are not. |I reckon we may stay up on goal difference. Oh please let us stay up :-)
Harry - LCFC Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 As others have said, this is the value of not getting picked apart when we lose. Strange that some people were almost willing it to happen too.
