Hextall86 Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Do we have any fixtures which will be moved due to the Rugby World Cup this year? If we are to play over the same weekend I'd rather see City play first as I hate seeing pitches torn up for both rugby n football.
Gary Eatfood Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Nope, we're away 3rd October at Norwich and then there's an International break.
Bamba's Babes Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 I imagine this will already have been factored into the generation of fixtures.
AKCJ Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 We host 3 games between the 4th and the 11th of October but we don't have a home game between the 26th September and the 24th of October, so no.
Hextall86 Posted 17 June 2015 Author Posted 17 June 2015 That's good. Guess you can always rely on International break to split first half of season too
LanguedocFox Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 There was something on the Premier League site today about how they work out the fixture list, and the RWC was one of the elements to be taken into account this season. I still think they will fvck up the pitch though.

Hollism Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 I wouldn't be surprised if they lay a new pitch after the rugby is finished, at least the penalty area. Hopefully. We don't need it to get fvcked up right before the winter. Does anyone know how long it takes? Does it need time to 'set' or something before being played on? I genuinely know very little about the process, other than it costs about £100k

Might be possible if needed?
