Carl the Llama Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 stick me on ignore. The first and last time I will read something written by TPH and think "yes, that's a reasonable thing to say to another person" without a sarcastic tone. Â Well done TPH, now quit while you're a(dick)head.
The People's Hero Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 They won't be getting capacity from me. Careful!
Guest Papasmurf Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 I am interested why motor insurance gets such a bad rep. Can only presume it's because it's compulsory people resent having to buy it. Working in the industry I can tell you the margins in motor and home are tiny. It's the add on's, legal expenses and extended warranties that people should be upset regarding the pricing and what insurers make from lines like that.

You'll be taking the baton from me if you carry on like this. You can't talk sense about insurance here. The only welcome things are the well worn tropes about how it's all a big scam, super expensive etc etc etc. Actually... Carry on. I could do with a break.
Stadt Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 The point of this ****ing thread is that's it's not sensible, not for one moment are people going to start paying whatever they like for stuff. If it makes you feel any better I have similar political views to you so you can't brandish me a lefty or something
The People's Hero Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 Threads are a bit organic though aren't they? People go off on a tangent. In truth I'm not that bothered who other people perceived the thread to be or how they hoped it would be. You can't really govern what direction a thread goes in. There was some sort of political stuff earlier in this thread. Perfect example. It is what it is.
