Lcfclad2013 Posted 5 July 2015 Author Posted 5 July 2015 check this out, its pretty much all you need to know regarding NV mods on PC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeeSrppDjrs Thanks I already have a few installed. World of pain (damn it's tough being level 5), classic fallout guns and wave radio
Finnegan Posted 5 July 2015 Posted 5 July 2015 There are so many mods for FNV, Skyrim, F3 and co' that you basically just need to get yourself on to Mod Nexus and go crazy. Google FNV Nexus and off you go, you can browse mods by type. If you want outfits/armour/weapons, it's there, companions it's there, graphics it's there, bugfixes, performance fixes, CTD fixes, you name it. Everyone's tastes are different so just go nuts. Be warned, though, if you're new to mods, make sure you read the instructions thoroughly and try to stick to only the most endorsed mods. Bad mods and badly installed mods (ie, your fault) will ruin your game.

World of pain is pretty damn good so far playing it
Finnegan Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Mostly weapon mods for me. There's so few default weapons in Fallout, it's absolutely dull. Biggest flaw with the game. About six months since I played FNV but I think I had the project nevada patches, weapon mods expanded, weapons of new millenia (tonnes of real world guns) as well as the Steyr Scout.

I seen that millenia one but opted for fallout classic guns which adds guns from fallout 1,2 and tactics. Although millenia looks really good
Finnegan Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 Just put them both in for as much variety as possible.
Lcfclad2013 Posted 7 July 2015 Author Posted 7 July 2015 Just put them both in for as much variety as possible. I'm finding world of pain hard being level 4, had powder ganger bully shooting me with a desert eagle yet alone giving them ak's haha. I'll probs give it a go though as you said more variety
Finnegan Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 If I remember correctly, GOTNM scripts the guns in to the game tiered by level. So you'll not find top guns on mobs or in shops til later on. Same as immersive weapons, if you've modded skyrim.

Big mistake. giant spiders and giant radscorpions level 6. Big mistake

Lcfclad2013 Posted 19 July 2015 Author Posted 19 July 2015 revisiting this thanks to friend and steam shareplay. can anyone recommend the best set of mods please. (ill be reading back through this thread in the mean time) I'd definitely recommend world of pain mod... Adds so much more to the world than the vanilla version and makes it slightly harder... Also fallout classic guns mod is pretty good too. Project nevada is another obvious choice but haven't tried that myself
Beliall Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 project nevada caught my eye too. ill check the other ou mentioned as well, have you tried the graphics mods in the video above? looks like a lot of add ons
Finnegan Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Just go nuts on nod nexus. It's addictive. My skyrim mods list keeps growing, I've hit 100 active now. In about two weeks, started with about five.
