Dynamogoon Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 I would say leave him in the past, however, the choice of manager we can attract isn't looking that great. He will be much better for us than some of the dross the bookies have on the list.

Cannot believe that we are struggling to attract real quality candidates.
foxinsocks Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 he is an option for the board to consider - what does he think we need to do? what is his plan to do it? What risks (destroying what we have)? etc. If he us the best option then, hey - give him the job.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 MON had a successful tenure with us up till 2000 but I still can remember the awful scenes just 5weeks into his start at the club nothing was going right the crowd wanted him out some demonstrated very vocally, but the gentle Irishman turned things around winning promotions and trophies and became one hell of a legend at Leicester City. Now with him being linked again would you really want the return of the prodigle son to the Leicester City family or would you keep MON's history as it is in the past ? It would be awful if he came in and didn't live up to the expectations of the owners younger fans etc I for one think we should remember the great things he did for us and bring in a different manager if it was to happen is love klopp to take us over but can't see that happen but I certainly think Claudio Ranieri would do an excellent job for us ! Keep MON in our greatest history time to make a new history with a new manager ! I tend to agree, he was a legend here, and that's the way it should remain, even though he could still do a good job.
dylanlegend Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 He was regarded as one of the best managers in the business following his Leicester / Celtic years. Still highly regarded but no one near how high he was, this IMO would be his last chance of a top flight job. I don't think he'll damage his rep too much as I don't think its that high atm anyway
