Lincoln are my second team , my girlfriends family support them. Thought Farnham was good last night and beavers has added stability to the defence.

Really? You've not mentioned it

I'm quick to point out Stringers flaws so i'll give credit where it's due.  His post match interview with CR was really good.  He asked him clear, focused questions and CR gave him good answers in return.  Hopefully he has learnt to adapt his techniques to get the correct results and both parties start afresh this season.

I agree with you on that point.

As for his commentary...I wasn't able to listen to the game, but I did listen to the "highlights" on the podcast and it sounded like he had no idea what was going on. I don't normally listen to the games on the radio but watch them on TV, but based on this thread and previous ones, he definitely needs some work.

Nice one, Farman played rally well last night, especially in the second half and kept the scoreline fairly respectable.

Rumour on one of our boards is that our manager is looking at bringing in Leicester forward Joe Dodoo on loan for the season? As I say it's only a rumour but does anyone know if anyone else has heard this and is he any good?

He'll do well at any conference side. Bagged a hat-trick tonight. Can play wide or up front.

Thanks, I hope the rumour is true then!

He's one of our better academy players, he'd probably do well playing for your lot

Hi all, Lincoln fan here, wanted to firstly say thank you to all the Foxes supporters last night, your attendance was much appreciated and will help our coffers greatly.

Have a soft spot for Leicester, my brother used to live in Glenfield and I even managed to go to a few Leicester games with him in that time, Coventry away particularly sticks in the mind. I also came to Filbert St for a Milk cup game I think it was when Frank Worthington and Co were playing for you, was good as we won that tue over the two legs!

To any of the 1400 or so Leicester fans, was wondering what you made of the Imps performance? Think we did ok in the first half when we had our strongest XI but we struggled more the longer the game went on when we made lots of changes in the second half.

Best of luck for you in the Prem this season.

I thought you played well and looked like a decent team going forward in the first half, 2nd half was a different story once we started to play with pace and test you. Good luck for the season.
