finderskeepers Posted 5 September 2005 Posted 5 September 2005 Does anyone think he will stay with us for much longer?
seventy_times_7 Posted 5 September 2005 Posted 5 September 2005 I'm not really sure what his situation is with regards to a contract. Is he too old for the academy teams now?
Hitesh Posted 5 September 2005 Posted 5 September 2005 Doubt it, he is just there atm as cover for the reserves!
Leicester_Mad Posted 5 September 2005 Posted 5 September 2005 he must be seen as some use for the future as Levein made it clear that people wont be around unless they are needed. Remember he is only 19/20 which is very young for a keeper.
Mark Posted 5 September 2005 Posted 5 September 2005 I think its a good idea to send young keepers out on loan at an early stage to see how they fair, because otherwise they are going to be wasted for years. There is only one place and you've always got a first choice and a backup keeper ahead of you.
andy_croydz Posted 5 September 2005 Posted 5 September 2005 Ive seen logan training and personally being a keeper myself i rate him, but i havent yet seen him play in a competitive match but hes certainly very big and strong.
Austin Posted 5 September 2005 Posted 5 September 2005 Ive seen logan training and personally being a keeper myself i rate him, but i havent yet seen him play in a competitive match but hes certainly very big and strong. I like the look of him and agree hes very big and strong so fetch him out on loan to blackpool so tommys not all alone! sorted!
Sparky Posted 5 September 2005 Posted 5 September 2005 dont rate him , but i suppose keepers dont really mature till 25 , so i wont write him off
cisono Posted 5 September 2005 Posted 5 September 2005 Ive seen logan training and personally being a keeper myself i rate him, but i havent yet seen him play in a competitive match but hes certainly very big and strong. I agree with you. I also saw him in training and he's certainly very big and strong (sorry to repeat your words, but they are just *the* right ones)
AyewJoking Posted 6 September 2005 Posted 6 September 2005 He should be sent on loan for some competitive experience but what club is gonna play a 20 year old keeper?
cisono Posted 6 September 2005 Posted 6 September 2005 He should be sent on loan for some competitive experience but what club is gonna play a 20 year old keeper? In general, I'd say one that doesn't have another keeper (or has an injured keeper)? Are you offering to injure a currently-playing keeper?
lookwhaticando Posted 6 September 2005 Posted 6 September 2005 He should be sent on loan for some competitive experience but what club is gonna play a 20 year old keeper? Liverpool played 19 year old Scot Carson in a European game ... I'm sure some of the lower league clubs play very young goalkeepers, too - not everyone can have goalkeepers aged 25+ - experienced goalkeepers don't just magically appear one day

Scow Posted 6 September 2005 Posted 6 September 2005 Logan is a bit cack to be fair. I imagine he'll be gone soon.
cisono Posted 6 September 2005 Posted 6 September 2005 Logan is a bit cack to be fair. And your assessment is based on?
Scow Posted 6 September 2005 Posted 6 September 2005 And your assessment is based on? Watching him play football.
cisono Posted 6 September 2005 Posted 6 September 2005 Watching him play football. I meant... where and when?
Scow Posted 6 September 2005 Posted 6 September 2005 I meant... where and when? In the reserves on a number of occasions. Technically, he's not good enough. He's also error prone.
andy_croydz Posted 6 September 2005 Posted 6 September 2005 In the reserves on a number of occasions. Technically, he's not good enough. He's also error prone. Well i suppose thats better than ive actually seen of him really, because ive seen him training a few times and he looked decent and hes strong but i havent really seen him much in a match so you must know more than me about him in that sense so i will take your word for it its probably why he hasnt even come close to the first team yet
cisono Posted 6 September 2005 Posted 6 September 2005 In the reserves on a number of occasions. Technically, he's not good enough. He's also error prone. Well, perhaps. Even if you were right, that doesn't mean he cannot improve?!?!
Scow Posted 6 September 2005 Posted 6 September 2005 Well, perhaps. Even if you were right, that doesn't mean he cannot improve?!?! Never said he couldn't improve. That doesn't mean he'll be good enough though?!?!
The People's Hero Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 He's shite. Get rid. Off to Coventry with ya Conrad mate, Micky'll take good care of ya!
