Izzy Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 His Everton team of the mid 80's were mustard. Loved watching Sheedy, Steven, Reid, Sharp, Gray and later Lineker. Remember watching them beat Rapid Vienna to win the old Cup Winners Cup final. Top Manager and a great bloke by all accounts.

My old man was at Liverpool university in the late 60's and watched Everton most weeks. He still talks about that team with great fondness. And he's still bitter that they lost to West Brom in the 68 cup final

I can only assume the vast majority on here are too young to remember Kendall as a player and Manager. It's testament to his greatness how many of his ex players have come out and all talked in such glowing terms about him.
