Len Finsbury Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 We all know that footballers are a superstitious bunch, with pre-match rituals they go through if they're playing well etc and after watching the Rise of the Foxes video that someone posted on here recently, I saw Vardy has a cast, albeit a smaller one that he has now, on his hand during last season's run-in. If this is the same injury, he has had the cast on for some time - do you think some of this is to do with superstition too while he's in this purple patch, perhaps? Also, can anyone think of any superstitions or rituals that other Leicester players do or have done in the past? I remember Garry Parker not shaving until he scored one season, any others?
Larry_LCFC Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 I think Vardy just has a ****ed wrist to be fair
loAf Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 too many people chatting shit. All that banging has taken its toll on his wrist
Captain... Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 That wasn't a superstition with Parker, it was a bet/challenge. He had just scored 3in our opening four fixtures, so came up with the challenge and volunteered to go first, didn't score for about 4 months after that.
surrifox Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Doesn't Danny Simpson think it's unlucky to allow a football to hit your head?
David Guiza Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Remember Stephen Carr used to wear a long sleeved shirt in the first half and short sleeved the second when he was at Spurs. Not sure if he carried it on or not afterwards.
Foxy harry Posted 5 November 2015 Posted 5 November 2015 remember watching a few games last season where cambiassos sock was inside out
