broughtonblue Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 My situation, I'm a ST holder in the west stand C2. My partner sits in K1. The person who sits next to her cant get to the game today but I can't get their ticket as they are very ill. So my options to allow me to sit next to my partner are... Try and use my ticket to get into K1, will the turnstiles open or are the tickets electronically tagged to the block of turnstiles I'm supposed to use Or is it possible to go through my normal turnstile then walk all the way round the concourse to K1, not sure if there is access all the way round ! Any info appreciated thanks
tcrofts Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Get there early and explain the situation to the ticket office, they may swap the ticket. Just one question though, why don't you sit with your partner ;-)
broughtonblue Posted 28 November 2015 Author Posted 28 November 2015 Haha, met after the season started
broughtonblue Posted 28 November 2015 Author Posted 28 November 2015 The person who can't go is very ill, I've rang the ticket office to see if they can upgrade the ticket from senior to full price, but they said the ticket holder has to do it, no chance of that as they are in their 80's and too poorly
ousefox Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 You can't use a ticket from one area to get into another from my experience.
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Just go in your normal turnstile and walk around the seats to where your partner sits. I did it last season to sit with my brother.
Bayfox Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 You won't get in a turnstile that your season ticket doesn't allow.
EnglishOxide Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Get there early and ask a steward in the stands. If they say no, ask to speak to their supervisor. The ticket won't let you into to her turnstile. If you fancy chancing it by walking round the seats (the south stand way!) then you might get away with it if the stadium isn't too empty at the time.

If the security detail is increased for today's match, walking around the stadium might prove difficult.
Babylon Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 You can get into the kop via c2 going up and down the stairs, but other than walking around the seats you can't get into the east stand from the kop.
