Foxhateram Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 You could argue Mandaric's hire and fire manager policy and revolving door transfer policy were key reasons we ended up in league 1 in the first place. We hit gold with these owners. Whether that was judgement or luck on Mandaric's part i dont know, but he is most definitely one for making a quick buck. Fair point I wasn't in any way saying that Mandaric wasn't at fault I was more pointing towards the fact that without financial backing we wouldn't have had the squad that Pearson had that started this journey? That money has manly come from the thais but at the time Mandaric kept us afloat. Holloway could have killed this club completely with that relegation to league 1. As for Peter Taylor well he nearly killed the club as well. Thank goodness for the consortium who dug us out and the fact that the points deductions came In after our administration season. Both terrible managers who were clowns when they needed to be firm and respected.
red fox Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Mark McB*ll*cks was a tw*t but we showed him and no harm done. Holloway has got to be the worst but should have never been appointed in the first place, sooooooo far out of his depth. Manderic has a lot to answer for. It has to be tater peeler for me, with out his "contribution" there would have been no relegation, administration, Manderic, Allen, Holloway and relegation to the 3rd tier etc.
hackneyfox Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Disliked: Milne because he came from co* and then swapped Melrose for English (and it was going to be Lineker), Worst: Taylor because of Benjamin and Lewis among other crimes. McLintock becasue it was my first proper season of away games and we were pitiful.
