Tuna Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 McGhee has since admitted it was a terrible mistake. I remember him saying in an interview he couldn't look at Leicester on a street sign!
Donut Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 I think Sousa has shown in his other jobs hes a very good manager, but trying to do things well above what we were capable of at the time. Was a good job Megson was only here 6 weeks. Holloway and Taylor, two idiots.
copunk Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Megson, can remember his style of play was that bad I fell asleep during a midweek game vs wolves, terrible
Corky Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Megson's four home games were collectively the most boring you'll ever see. Two goals (one a penalty) and about four shots on target.
TJB-fox Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 I know for a fact Martin Allen was the most unpopular with the players!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 If you say anyone other than Taylor you need to drain your keyboard.
Leicester_Numan Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Although I disliked the reigns of Taylor & Sven for the same reason, and didn't like the way McGhee and Megson left the club, (Little & O'Neill I could understand them leaving for "their clubs" and after a period of success here), I can't really say I've actually disliked any of our managers from a point of view of their personalities.
foxfanazer Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Taylor obviously but how dull was the Levein era?!
Captain... Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Taylor did the most damage to the club, followed by Sven, but did have some redeeming features. Taylir made a great start and got us top, Sven signed Kasper and Nugent and got Yakubu in the Royal Blue and I don't think either were trying to damage the club. Likewise Holloway, he wasn't deliberately shit he was just clueless. For me it is Megson, just completely disrespected the club by being shit and then leaving after 4 games.
Nick Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 1.Levein. 2.The fella who thought the players cleaning the toilets would make them recognise we are all in this together. 3. Sadly, Holloway who I'd have a pint with but don't need the manager of my football club to be funnier than he his good at at his actual job.
dylanlegend Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Peter Taylor 100%. Terrible manager, I think David Pleat was pretty hated also but that's before my time
ithuriel Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Hollowhead took us to our lowest point ever but Taylor destroyed us as a Premier League force for some time, Micky Adams did a tremendous job of getting the wreckage back into the Prem for one season but the damage had already been done. When ever I see Taylor on the TV all I think of when that face appears is failure, Failure, FAILURE!!! Just going to make another voodoo doll to suffer in his place
fox in the sox Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Taylor all day long. Spunked away millions on garbage like Junior bloody Lewis the man is a fraud to football. He has 5 promotions and no relegations to his name, not exactly a fraud to football. His time at City didn't work out though with money spent badly and results deteriorating.
Jacnah Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Taylor all day. His incompetence to continue the process was beyond belief. Holloway took us to an all time low, but I actually quite like the guy, even to this day. Taylor. Killed the club for the best part of 10 years. Taylor. Killed the club for the best part of 10 years. Taylor.this. i just cant see beyond Taylor.Holloway was the one at the end of a long line of incompetent managers. you cant blame him for all their collective failings, but you can damn well blame taylor for starting the rot
GaelicFox Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Taylor left a decade long legacy of disaster ! Anyone living would struggle to name another manager who had such a profoundly negative impact on this might club.
dibbdroid Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Peter Taylor or Frank McLintock. Both did the same in different eras
steveherbe Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Taylor. Killed the club for the best part of 10 years. Have to agree with my lad here, Taylor all day long.
