Most disliked City manager?

Going all the way back to Matt Gilles, who is the manager that you have disliked the most irrespective of his record during his time at City?

My personal choice has to be Mark McGee. I just couldn't stand the man & he made himself hated by City fans when he

said that he was leaving to join a 'bigger club', Wolves! After all his failings at different football clubs, where

is the asshole now?

Taylor. Had an excellent squad and money to spend- no other manager has had that. Wasted a wonderful opportunity to progress the club.

I disliked the way McGhee left but he got us playing really great football during his stay so I have a soft spot for him. Taylor stands out by a mile for me. We had a real chance of pushing on as a club and he failed miserably. Holloway has to be up there too. I didn't dislike any of the other managers we had when we were skint and crap. All did okay given the resources at their disposal.

Holloway is incredibly irritating, combine that with his incompetence and he's the clear winner for me.

Sousa, so obvious he was out of his depth.

He was terrible in the short time he was here but you could at least see what he was attempting. It just wasn't the place to do it; we weren't good enough. He is doing a good job with Fiorentina at the moment.

Ahh good. Another 'who do you hate the most?..' thread! Makes a change from all this 'top of the league' euphoria lol

Hollaway, just came at the wrong time, the team had lost all confidence, the internal damage was already done

when he came.

Managed to get a ticket to the Doncaster game when we lifted the Championship trophy - in amongst all the cheers I started to sing "Are you watching Mark McGhee?", which I can still remember going around Wembley in 96. Got a couple of laughs from people and a few bemused looks from those too young to remember. Don't hate him though!

Taylor is definitely loathing-worthy - the way he destroyed that team is unforgivable.

Holloway for taking us down to League One/Division Two/Division Three.

Craig Levein too. Tosspot.

Taylor. Took us 9 years to sort his mess out.

Holloway the damage was already done we'd been flirting with relegation for the previous 2 years. He was the one that just put us out of our misery.

Sousa came in and tried to change things that didn't need changing. You could see what he was trying to do but it was never going to work with the sort of footballers we had at the time.
