Durnerz Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Had a season ticket from the end of Filbert Street all the way through to Rob Kelly's second season. I've taken to going to matches abroad and watching other clubs in my spare time but still following City of course. It's great when you're in your teens and early twenties with freedom and time to go home and away, it was all that mattered in those days. Now with work commitments, a mortgage and wanting to mix up what I do on the weekends I mainly opt for watching city on streams and going to the odd game.Fair play to all who stay committed and spend their hard earned going home and away, I was one once. Young fan's of ours make the most of what's going on at the moment, if following Leicester's taught me anything its a rollercoaster.
MPH Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 I live in San Francisco now. It's gutting not being able to go to games, away days were my favourite thing. Do you have nbc sports? They are my savior. Great online coverage of all games. Few decent bars showing the game too. But NOTHING and i mean NOTHING beats the combined smell of the leaky toilets at the back of the east stand mixed in with pipe tobacco. Those were the days!!!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Oh definitely was well wrong on that aspect lol Though I don't think anyone could say 'I told you so' either! Not sure why. I'm putting it down to stuff happening away from football I think
