fuchsntf Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Fair post, but not A1 happy about your choice of username fella. If I may suggest changing it as it's only a few posts? Sorry, just a suggestion and no offence intended, enjoy the forum. I reckon its marvellous that God even has time to take interest....
SpacedX Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Three feasible LB's in Fuchs, Schlupp & Chilwell. Three feasible RB's in Simpson, Was & Benalouane Four feasible CB's in Morgan, Huth, Was & Benalouane I think we're covered pretty well in those areas for a team that usually only plays once a week. As has already been pointed out, Was is not comfortable deployed at RB. This happened most recently against Swansea at home from memory and Nige immediately pulled him back into the centre with the introduction of RDL for the second half. Benny came on for RDL against Sunderland and similarly struggled.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 I think Albrighton could definitely play a game or two as a full back if desperately needed, then we have Dyer to come in on the wing.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 maybe if fuchsy gets injured we will now find out i was right all along when i said that no left back would be better than jeff what?
Captain... Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 I read that Chiwell was being recalled, if he hasn't already, we do have some highly rated academy players that may need to be thrown in if our "injury crisis" continues, as well as other top professionals that could do a job, Albrighton, Kante, Dyer, worse case scenario we can switch to 3 CB and play wing backs, there is always the short term loan option in January. We can also afford to drop a few points here and there and still avoid relegation, so I'm not panicking.
