I was there at Wembley in 1992 watching Muggleton, Grayson, the Rooster, Hendry, Newell and (the diving) Speedie. We won promotion and you were heartbroken. We went on to enjoy some glorious years in the Prem finishing 4th,2nd and champs in the first three years. It was wonderful and a lot of us thought that it would never end. Ha! All good things must come to an end sooner or later. I am delighted at your escape from certain relegation last season and your fantastic current season. I really hope you win the title. Make the most of it while it lasts because it will come to an end sometime. Enjoy your fabulous season.
FoxonMaui Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 I live on Maui and there is a lifetime Gooner here who texted me today saying he wants us to win the league. Was massively impressed with our performance today and genuinely thinks we fully deserve to win it this year. It's great to see the good wishes from so many fans of other clubs. I would like to think its not just all about us being top of the league, but also about how we have played and conducted ourselves as a team and a club in general. Ranieri is a class act and we should be very proud to have him as our manager. We have fantastic owners who we owe so much to for giving us this opportunity, I would rather have them over any other owners in football. I have been a fan since I was seven and I am fifty nine now, so definitely an old codger. My best friend who lives in Colorado, who is also a lifetime City fan who was born in Leicester, called me after the game today and we cannot really believe what is happening. We never thought we would ever see the club with a chance to win the league. I just wish my Dad had lived a few more years to have seen this. Will be in the stands for the home game with my wife for the Swansea game, cannot wait!!

Would be great if Leicester won the premier League title well deserved . I thought that Leicester would win it just before Xmas despite the comments from pundits Your style is very much like Readings style with desire, a great team with no real household names, power and pace. Everyone expected Reading to be relegated despite smashing the championship with 106 points but we finished 8th and missed out on the Europa league or whatever it was called then by goal difference I think. Your team has taken the big underdog to a new level though. Vardy is incredible as is mahrez but getting ranaeri was a masterstroke but others that are key are kante huth and drinkwater, I enjoyed the game and had to laugh at man city. How much was their team, laughable

Smaller clubs have little chance of regular success

Obviously your Newcastle mate does not drink Carlsberg or, as he is your mate, he would automatically say black is white and vice versa that's what mates do..
