GaelicFox Posted 15 February 2016 Author Posted 15 February 2016 Six points is a great return. We didn't get spanked by Arsenal and should have got a point but for some ill disciplined foul in the last minute We don't look like getting rolled over We are still top We have two weeks rest coming up I think yesterday's results have shifted the pressure back towards Tottenham somewhat. The three behind of us are virtually playing 2 games a week for next month !
WardyisPukka Posted 15 February 2016 Posted 15 February 2016 6 is a very good return. Have a word with yourself if you're not - we were nailed on to be relegated this time last year. Just hope yesterday doesnt affect the players for a long time and we are able to breakdown teams like Norwich and WBA which in my opinion are harder games than yesterday

WBA on the other hand with the footballing dinosaur in charge, now that could be 0-0, horrible man with horrible tactics.
ramboacdc Posted 15 February 2016 Posted 15 February 2016 im happy i think i am just more annoyed at what happened yesterday than angry that we may have lost the title. in the grand scheme of things we scored 5 goals against 3 of the best teams in the league and it means only 1 team can (and has) done the double over us this season.

Pulis will love it if they get a point and dress it up as a win. Bloody hate him and his shite tactics hope they get relegated
Fox Ulike Posted 15 February 2016 Posted 15 February 2016 Despite the way Wenger is lauding Arsenal’s performance, I think that the way they huffed and puffed to beat 10 men says a lot more about Arsenal’s inadequacies than it does about Leicester’s staying power. We are still the team to beat. We now have 9 winnable matches in which we hopefully won't be so harshly treated by the ref. If we play as well as we did yesterday we will probably still be top at the end of them.
AyewJoking Posted 15 February 2016 Posted 15 February 2016 dont come with this "look where we were this time last year" crap. I get you have to appreciate how amazing things have been for us and yes its crazy how not finishing top 4 this season would be seen as a massive disappointment by most. fact is we are in a title race and lost ground over the weekend, no need to cry though, we are still best placed to win it when you take into account the remaining fixtures for all teams concerned.

Well i'm sure Arsenal would win the title if they played all of their games against 10 men. Arsenal will have gained a temporary lift from the late winner, true. But when the emotion of the game subsides, I think most people will think that we looked a lot more like Champions than Arsenal did.
