bluebeau Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Yes, a really good interview, well worth the listen. Craig sounds to me like a very modest guy who would have a good relationship with all around him. Definitley sounds like a future manager & it would be excellent if he were still at City when Ranieri calls it a day. He appears to be very happy at City, so let's hope him & Steve Walsh soon put pen to paper & sign a new long term contract.
Guy Posted 31 March 2016 Posted 31 March 2016 Yes very grounded with his outlook on the game and rather like any good manager, he says he doesn't get carried away when we're 5-0 up anymore than he gets down when we we're on an awful run - like we were for large parts of last season in the Prem. of course. He remains a bit ambiguous about Pearson but I suppose he is not the sort to speculate about the future in that way and is just loving 'the here and now' under Claudio - and rightly so! It wouldn't surprise me if he one day became a manager somewhere before too long if the right opportunity came along, even if the transition from assistant manager to manager doesn't always work out.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 31 March 2016 Posted 31 March 2016 I've known Craig a while and he is a very down to earth, cracking chap
