GaelicFox Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03pct1z It's fantastic listening
TheUltimateWinner Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Very insightful. Personally think he will make a very good manager should he want that challenge, until then, I hope he stays for a long long time.
Foxymcoxy Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 That's a really good interview, he speaks very well.
Corky Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Seems like the sort of coach players would respect, can imagine him logically talking to players about mistakes, where to improve, what is going well rather than just ranting away if they make errors and putting extra pressure on them.
GaelicFox Posted 29 March 2016 Author Posted 29 March 2016 That's a really good interview, he speaks very well. Bright and very sharp man
Wymsey Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Can see him slotting in at a club somewhere, such as the Championship where mistakes can be criticized in the media. Is Mike Stowell another assistant, as he seems to like instructing players, as well as a goalkeeping coach?
Finnaldo Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Quite early and not knowing when he'd want to step up but, Ranieri's successor?
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 If your surname is Shakespeare you are going to excel in life, that is a fact
Wymsey Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 If your surname is Shakespeare you are going to excel in life, that is a fact But perhaps ensure when you have a grave when you die - make sure that your head will be actually safe with the rest of your body and not missing.
GaelicFox Posted 29 March 2016 Author Posted 29 March 2016 Quite early and not knowing when he'd want to step up but, Ranieri's successor? Why not !
Rincewind Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Well Ranieri says he wants to finish here and he is in his late 60's so could be what Shakespeare is waiting for. Not cynically but he knows the players and system. It worked at Liverpool a few years back recruiting from within.

yorksfox Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Probably the first time I've heard him speak. No wonder Pearson always wanted him at his side, Ranieri too, it appears. The sort of guy that players would run through a brick wall for. Our club clearly has many outstanding people in a whole variety of positions / departments, as Craig alluded to in his interview.

Somebody at city really knows how to run a club ! What would villa , Newcastle , Sunderland etc..... Give to have a backroom set up like ours !!! Can't all be luck , can't all be previous or current manager Someone higher up the chain really is doing a very very good job
demon_dog Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Having heard this can't see how he'd want to go and work with Pearson again. He clearly likes working here and get's on well with Claudio. Top man!

Top man! He's played alongside, and worked with, Pearson at Sheff Weds, West Brom, City (twice) and Hull. He likes Ranieri, but he once said Pearson was the best captain and best manager he ever worked with. I hope we keep him, Walsh and all the other backroom team that Pearson accumulated. Time will tell.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Sounds a decent chap, well grounded and very knowledgable Up the Foxes
cjslcfc Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Quite early and not knowing when he'd want to step up but, Ranieri's successor? He definitely wants to become a Manager
Johnnybloke Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Wow. Really enjoyed the insight, and what struck me as candour.
