Levein expects tough test!

Craig Levein says he expects a tough test when his side travel to Molineux to take on Wolves on Saturday (3pm). The Foxes go into the game looking to bounce back following their 1-0 away defeat at the hands of Cardiff City on Tuesday night, while Wolves go into the clash following a 2-1 home reverse against Millwall.

And although Glenn Hoddle's men have been installed as strong favourites for the match, Levein is confident that his side can upset the odds at the weekend.

Speaking ahead of the game, he said: "The funny thing about this league is it's just as likely that it is just as likely that we will go to Wolves and win as anything else. We are confident that we will win the match."

Wolves were made pre-season favourites for the Championship by the bookies, and have so far amassed 12 points from their opening eight fixtures.

Levein added: "I think Wolves will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. They have a lot of talent and they added some good players in the summer to their squad as well.

"I would expect it to be a difficult match, but we played extremely well against Sheffield United earlier in the season and I don't think they will be any stronger than them. "

Levein confirmed on Thursday at his pre-match press conference that Gareth Williams had recovered from a hamstring scare that had forced him to leave the pitch against the Bluebirds, but Danny Tiatto was more likely to make his comeback against Blackpool in the Carling Cup next Tuesday.

Wolves will be without former England men Darren Anderton and Paul Ince for the match, while Mark Kennedy is rated as doubtful.

Leicester will be donning their blue kit for the fixture.

But we lost 4-1!

As an aside, has anyone watched Levein's interview when he says the above? I swear there is a few seconds of Wilcox (I think it's him anyway..) in shirt and pants on the training pitch :o Although he might just be wearing Dublin's hotpants.

Well spotted! Time index...about 1:58 if anyone wants to check.

It is Wilcox, but - sorry to disappoint you - I think he is just wearing his shorts in Dublin's style...

Why he would do that, though, is a mystery! lol

What I had noticed at the beginning of this clip was Williams looking towards the camera (for quite a while) while walking by...

Not seen it but he's probably just posing a la most performances on the pitch.

It does look like it. What a p*nce! (I think that's the word, anyway)

Perhaps he is a bit confused and thinks he is a model and not a footballer?

Apparently, Wilcox is supposed to be the "joker" of the club!

And on the pitch!!

Good Luck lads you will need it, Wolves arent that fantastic really - completely overated at times but they are slightly better than us at present :(

Message to "Harry" Levein:

Watch the Wolves/Millwall video

Sort out your tactics

Tell every City player precisely what job you wish him to do when we have the ball

Tell every City player where his opposing number's weaknesses lie.

Tell every City player what he is expected to do when we don't have the ball.

Convince the players that they are man-for-man a better side than Wolves.

Tell them to go out and win the game.

And in so doing you will not only collect three points and improve the collective morale of an entire city no end.

You will also temporarily shut the mouth of that likeable but eternal merchant of gloom Katassi.

Oh yes and if anyone mentions draws Craig...flatten em.

My money's going on Leicester to win - and that should be motivation enough after all I've said to try and help you. :) :) :)

GOD FOR "HARRY", LEICESTER AND ST GEORGE!

Bloody cheek! ;) Nothing would give me greater pleasure (today) than us wiping the pepetual smug grin off Glenn Hoddle face and gain some much needed and moral boosting points! Its called being realistic! Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am anything but a 'merchant of gloom' quite the opposite infact :D

Good speech though Thrac - that should sort the buggers out!

I don't want "realistic" on match days. If I wanted "realistic" I wouldn't be a Leicester fan I'd be off to Chelsea or Manchester United.

What I want is predjudiced, illogical, undiluted bias.

I don't want fair referees I want every decision in our favour. I don't want an even contest I'd rather Wolves have two men sent off in the first 10 minutes.

I don't want realistic I want "extraordinary. I want miracles. I want the unlikely, the unexpected, the achievement of a lifetime. I want players - and all of em our players - to scale heights they would normally be scared of.

I want us to score first. I want us to score second. I want us to score like we're planting potatoes in a furrow.

And I don't want Wolves to score at all. No consolation goals, no lucky deflections, no tap it penalties no nothing.

I want us to be the warriors. Us to be the winners and I want Wolves to be locked in their dressing room afterwards for a rollicking.

I want, I want, I want. One of these days I'm going to have to grow up. But it'll save until Monday, thanks. :):):)
