King Kyle lcfc Posted 16 September 2005 Posted 16 September 2005 Answer- Support another fecking side then well actually find a team to support mate because you obviously dont support leicester city
DON Posted 16 September 2005 Author Posted 16 September 2005 Answer- Support another fecking side then Why should i,these people here now are only here for the money, its about time you lot relised that, they dont care about the club

Sack Levein. He is doing a good job!! Fans like you are annoying and its you that are not doing the club any favours! We are at a rebiulding stage and results take time. Levein is doing a decent job in building a squad on the limited funds he has and it will be a long hard struggle. But eventrually the results will show and we will back in the Premiership! These things take time! We have a decent young side with promise and i reckon it will take a few seasons for us to be as good as we were under the O'Neil. At the start of the season i was saying play-off, and although i think its acheiveable i now understand what Levein is trying to do. he doesnt want a 1 season squad, he wants something that he can build on season after season and become stronger. Your entitled to your opinion, but i cant see any justification in it at all! Why sack CL? Who would replace him? And who could do a better job? He would just be using the same squad! Maybe suggest a new formation or maybe a few new coaches but why sack him?? If you want results now and want to see success go support Chelsea!! You obviously have no patience what so ever and it seems as if you hate Leicester! You cant be a good supporter if you hate them just because they arent playing well!! Sounds like the mind of many Man Utd supporters if you ask me! Over to you Thracian!
Hitesh Posted 16 September 2005 Posted 16 September 2005 Why should i,these people here now are only here for the money, its about time you lot relised that, they dont care about the club I do agree with the money bit, but thats football mate! its in every aspect of the game and we just have to live with it! But i ask you, why do most people go to work? For money!!!
Mark Posted 16 September 2005 Posted 16 September 2005 Why should i,these people here now are only here for the money, its about time you lot relised that, they dont care about the club I think you'll find the players under the past management were exactly that. Craig's shipped out those except for Dublin and brought in younger players with a future on much lower wages. So it'll take time.

What exaclty do u want em to do win every week? The side is not good enough and how is sacking Bill Anderson gonna help us go up exactly? Start at the root of the problem eh?
King Kyle lcfc Posted 16 September 2005 Posted 16 September 2005 Good point Don sack bill anderson and while we are at it get rid of that waste of space Jon Barber that will help our teams plight
TornadoShaunUK Posted 16 September 2005 Posted 16 September 2005 WTF!! Sack Levein. He is doing a good job Off the pitch.... On the pitch I'm not so sure =/ still, he is stabilising our club behind the scenes, just so long as he doesn't get us bloody relegated <_< either way we are still at an early stage in the season yet...
Hitesh Posted 16 September 2005 Posted 16 September 2005 Off the pitch.... On the pitch I'm not so sure =/ still, he is stabilising our club behind the scenes, just so long as he doesn't get us bloody relegated <_< either way we are still at an early stage in the season yet... He wont get us relegated! We have too many good players in our team for that. And there are too many crap teams in this league for that to happen! But we dont have enough good players to mount a serious promotion challenge but i reckon once this squad plays more consistently this season, and take it into next season with a better squad we will be a better force.
Foxes_Wizard_Striker Posted 16 September 2005 Posted 16 September 2005 No way we should sack levien he just need to brave and stand up and tell the media that we played rubbish instead of we was unlucky etc but look at Alex Fergsoun he was not succesful with man utd in first season but now..(maybe not now but in 1999) they was bee knees of football how? by sticking with ferguson that what we should do with levein I'm rubbing my hands in glee for champions league in 2009 (maybe not)

Great reply i've said the same sort of thing on the OS till i've been cursing because nobody is taking any notice, i'm on here most of the time now because of that fact(I go on there to catch up on anything i might of missed.)
Thracian Posted 16 September 2005 Posted 16 September 2005 Why should i,these people here now are only here for the money, its about time you lot relised that, they dont care about the club I wonder what you do in life that's so f.....g awesome. Are you the one elusive soul who has been so successful, so inventive, so faultless, so entertaining, so something or another that you can set yourself up as so high and mighty that you can judge the motivation of people you have probably never met and probably don't even know. Criticising people constructively is one thing but drawing conclusions about whether they care about what they do is another when you have no evidence to back up your rant. As for money I assume you are some relation to Mother Teresa or a descendant of the disciples because I presume from your attitude that you wouldn't dream of accepting the sort of money that is paid to Levein and the servants of Leicester City Football Club for what they do (in the extraordinary event that it were ever offered to you). I can no more speak about Levein's inner thoughts and attitudes than you can but there are lots of people who care a lot about the work they do whether they are paid a pittance or a fortune. You have no right to insult their integrity without just cause any more than that of anyone else. Like others on this forum have said, Levein is actually doing a good job and it is sobering that had Maybury's disallowed goal been counted against Cardiff we would probably have been celebrating four points from two games and the fact that we remained in touch with the play-off group. For the life of me I can't understand how your assault on Levein's character and professionalism can be deemed in any way helpful to the club. Do you know of some magical yet saintly manager and coaches who would take over at City for nothing and quickly lift us into the stratosphere of the footballing world?. Thought not. Glad to oblige Hitesh!!!
Hitesh Posted 17 September 2005 Posted 17 September 2005 Nice of DON to come back and support his arguments!
Hugo Posted 17 September 2005 Posted 17 September 2005 I think your reply to DON was harsh hes entitled to his opinion and some of his points are fair points..If this is another 'rebuilding' season, i dont see much signs of the team improving at all - at this rate it could take another 3 seasons of mid table positions before we get anywhere near promotion. And lets not forget levien has had nearly a year now, and STILL there are faults that have not been corrected ie set pieces are poor both when attacking , and defending them. And obviously theres the consistency. I wouldnt say levien is doing a good job, but he's also not doing a bad job. But i dont see him as the manager that will take us back to the premiership he seems to be lacking something And the reply to the original post was crap - just because the person had a different opinion to most of the other people on here his support to leicester was questioned, but for one i found the post more intresting to read than most of the other posts on here with everyone up each others arses and people who dont post much getting ignored..I think people need to realise that the number of posts does not indicate the strength of loyalty or knowledge about football/leicester Isnt it normal for fans to expect results from their team? Especially when we have one of the biggest wage budgets in the division ect and on paper have one of the best teams. If your ok with another couple of seasons of the crap we have been experiancing lately than thats fine, but i think a bit of impatience should be expected as our team continues to slide into mid table obscurity

Although he has had a year to change things, he is new to english football and with 1 or 2 more years we will have a squad worthy of leciester city

Ultra Posted 17 September 2005 Posted 17 September 2005 i think a bit of impatience should be expected as our team continues to slide into mid table obscurity We're already there, and don't really look like getting out. Whether people on here like it or not, a lot of FOXES have already lost patience with Levein. Why else do we see so many empty seats at the Way? Although it was a decent result today in the circumstances, we should have started the season a lot better than we did. Defeats by the likes of Cardiff and Luton do not suggest a challenge for the top six any time soon.

Suffolk_fox Posted 17 September 2005 Posted 17 September 2005 I'm dreading Wolves and Derby because at the moment I can see us taking an ass raping. Agree with most of it apart from the only way is up! Like to point out bad reasults agains Wolves (More then Likely as they have a better team.).... I am sure there are many more postings like this on the site predicting a sound thrashing at Wolves. Well it wasn't pretty, but we managed to draw - and still the nay sayers are calling for his head! The financial position, the lack of decent talent coming through, the age of the squad, the number of freeloaders up for another decent payday in the autumn of their careers, players who were plainly not going to get better as they were well past their best, these are things which have improved. We will not turn into a great team overnight. We are not losing heavily week in, week out. Our position is far from hopeless, and we have so much potential. We exceeded some of your expectations today, face it. You expected a whipping, we managed a bore draw. I know CL's football is not the most entertaining at the moment, but after seeing so many managers at the club over the years, I believe he is one of the better ones. Not a MoN, but there are precious few of that ilk in the world, rarer still for them to be in our employ. He is not Harry Basset or Howard Wilkinson, thank God. But sack him now, and that is the sort of idiot who we will end up with. He is not the finished article, and neither for that matter are we. But he is building excellent foundations for us - and any builder will tell you that the better the foundations, the better the finished building. I firmly believe he is the man for the job, and behind the scenes, we are doing alot better thank you. It is only a matter of time before it shows on the pitch too.
FNQ Posted 17 September 2005 Posted 17 September 2005 and any builder will tell you that the better the foundations, the better the finished building. . What a shit analogy.
