why are people worried?

okazaki is a goal scorer.... he's been playing a less glamorous, role for the team. I'm if he's given the opportunity to play further up and have less responsibility chasing midfielders/defenders, he will get goal scoring opportunities. Whether he or Ulloa will take them is something else, as I've noticed Ulloa miss a few good chances when he's come on late and found space.

Good thing is  they are finding spaces.... And against Swansea I'm sure we will creae chances for them. Even if we don't, Huth and Morgan will be a threat from set pieces.

We will have to watch sigurdson and montero.... but i don't see any reason to worry about this game or panic.

The players will be prepared and will 110% + have that little more fire in their bellies after what happened last week.

The layers won't show any nerves, win, lose or draw it will be down to performances.

Pulis reckons we're f***ed..

We'll choke and Spurs will win the title..

Confidence booster going into their game with them on Monday..what a c***!

i'd rather he did say that.

a clever little stool softener before he makes them eat it.

Keep the faith - some of you need some faith, just relax

Let's look at the facts

We have lost 3 all season

We are 5 points clear

We are grinding out results and not all players are playing at their optimum e.g. Mahrez

Vardy didn't score for 6 consecutive matches that we won 5 and drew 1 , we are not a one man team

Ranieri and the players are focused on their next game, not what Spurs are doing

We play first for the next 3 fixtures

The spine of our side have negotiated a title winning charge only 2 years ago

The spine of our side were under pressure to stay in the division last season and negotiated that at the same stage

Ranieri was 5 clear with 4 to play with Monaco , and won the Ligue 2 title by 6 points

Swansea are safe have nothing to play for, whereas we are on a title charge, every game is a cup final

Swansea are looking to appoint Brendan Rodgers next season, not good on players mentality

We have 2 Home matches and our atmosphere will be electric

We have gained 10 points in the earlier reverse fixtures from the next 4 opponents

We take each game as it comes, any good manager will have drilled it into his players, it's evident that's what Leicester do

Players are focused and are not chatting 'shit' - media trained well, natural responses shows they are focused on next game only

Since Christmas we have conceded 4 goals in 7 prem matches at home , whilst scoring 12

Leicester have Tremendous team spirit , galvanised and shown by the injury time equaliser last week

I won't speak about Spurs , because I know Ranieri and our squad will be the same

I'm surprised the Spurs fixtures are getting so much attention. If I were worried about anything (other than my wife's recovery from open heart surgery two days ago) it would be about attention-grabbing officials.

But, if they can bear to stay out of the limelight, the outcome of the Premiership title is basically down to ourselves and the need to win the necessary points to haul ourselves over the line.

I don't so much worry about our ability to do that as our habit of retreating 10 yards deeper once we've taken the lead and showing no great desire to deploy supporting runners for any further attacking moves thereafter, thus inviting additional pressure we can do without.

What makes that pressure worse is that we're often so bad at passing the ball when we take possession.

We give it away far too easily and unnecessarily - apart from when we're searching out Vardy - it simply invites more pressure.

They're good players in other ways but they can be so frustrating in possession and usually it's down to choice of pass rather than ability. It's also about people making themselves available but,  when we've scored, the action in this department is suddenly halved or even worse than that.

Against Swansea the test will be to maintain pressure and to avoid becoming predictable by hoisting everything towards Ulloa. We need to keep directing out attacks in different directions and to use the skills available on the flanks and, hopefully, the ability of King and or Schlupp to offer an option going forward from midfield.

We have a brilliant central midfield pairing but, without Vardy, the absence of any real goal threat from central positions, including Shinji and the central midfielders, is almost embarrassing.

It was a major mistake failing to strengthen our strike-threat in January - one of only potentially significant mistakes all season - and we really need to boost that threat in the absence of our main striker.

Get our own game right and what Spurs or Arsenal do won't matter.

Firstly and more importantly, I hope your wife makes a full recovery.

Your clearly a man who has played and being involved in this great game as your assessments are usually spot on.

you've said it all better than I could pointing out all of our deficiencies throughout our team. The worst of all is how cheaply we give the ball away.

We'll be slaughtered for that in Europe next season but that's for another day.

We were at our best when moving the game up field getting at the opposition early and using our pace and width to stretch defences.

Without conceding little if anything at the back.

Now were playing deeper and inviting the opposition on to us. While it's mostly worked so far It's fraught with danger. As you're always only one goal away from defeat. A few of us said in February that we hoped not signing a striker or ball playing midfielder wouldn't come back to haunt us. I still hope it doesn't.

I thought also that we could have done with the passing ability of King the last few games plus his added goal threat. He's still one of the best finishers finishers we have at the club. I think he could be the difference we need especially with the loss of Vardy and Mahrez off form lately. But It's difficult to find a place in the Team for him with the style we've been playing. But I thought he would have made a better sub than Amartay. If only for his big game experience.

As you say we/re still in the driving seat and I'm confident we wont concede many and go on to win the League, It's just the ability to keep scoring enough Goals that worries me.

Onwards and upwards we go.

We're Leicester City Football Club we always like to do it the hard way and more often than not for my liking fail in the attempt.

What do you call always failing when in pole position in  2nd tier always delivered and the once in 3rd tier. Only  real failure when leading table early sixties chasing double lost 4 out of last 5 and cup final  even then several injuries. When did we fail to get inplay offs when in favourable position.

Did I mention pole position?

We're  a club that's  been relegated from the top more times than most clubs, 4 failed cup finals,  winning a game 3-0 at half time only to lose 4-3  there  are many instances where we've  been expected to win only to lose in my many years of watching

.

Not that I need to explain my feelings regarding success or failure  relating to lcfc.

Its a little strange that suddenly we are "under pressure". Unbeaten in 8. Drew with West Ham being 10 against 12. Yes I know Vardy is out -  but for f.... sake we wouldnt be where we are if we were only a "one man band". We are in an incredible situation that I guess none of us envisaged would ever happen. So believe - we are going to be champions for the first time ever - whatever the biased London press, commentators and other "icons" predict. So full support for the boys tomorrow and blow Swansea away!!! Up the City

We're under no more pressure than any other game. It's just the importance of the result which creates the pressure.

It's commonly regarded in Sport that you have to learn how to lose before you learn how to win. Thankfully we had that lesson in the play off defeat to Watford.

Since then we've faced the pressure of the big games in the right frame of mind. Let's be honest they don't get any tougher than having to win your remaining games as we did last season. Which is why I feel confident we can see the last few games out and create history.

this is whats going to happen now. (we win the league, obvs).

as for spurs,

draw vs west brom, lose to chelsea, draw with southampton then lose to newcastle who are fighting relegation.

man city & arsenal win all their remaining games, draw vs each other and leap frog spurs, who end up 4th and out of the champions league in the qualifying stage.

Man city & arsenal both end up with 71 points, spurs 70.

Please god, let this happen lol
