Guest ttfn Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 We have four difficult fixtures too. Make excuses as much as you like. We can afford to drop 4 points before Spurs drop any. The fixtures are broadly as tricky as one another until the final game which is difficult to predict at the moment. If we are truly a better side than Spurs we'll see this through with or without Vardy.
biggs Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 I'm not one bit worried and fail to see why anyone would be. I believe in this team. Fun to guess but it's only a guess apparently based on stress levels to what might happen......I do know what has happened. All I've seen is this incredible resiliency from the players and manager to get the job done. Keep the faith and base our final four games on what we have done this season and also the end of last when the pressure was on.
Will Loz Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Honestly none of those teams can be a match for Spurs on their current form. The will win all their 4 matches.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Wba already losing at Arsenal. We should have beaten them at home. Think Spurs will but at least two or three by them
EastAnglianFox Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Not having Southampton pushing to qualify for Europe. I think Koeman will fancy being one of the teams trying to do "A Leicester" next season and as such won't fancy any sort of fixture congestion. And yes there is a Pulis factor but that just means Tottenham will score 5 instead of 2. It's all irrelevant however as it's all about us and although yes of course things are getting twitchy but look at the experience of the manager and the results we get week in week out. Vardy is a miss but with Gray, Schlupp, Amartey, King etc I literally couldn't have more trust in a team and manager.
Guest MattP Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Southampton are five points off sixth anyway, all likelihood they'll be playing for nothing when they go to Spurs.
Treacle Fox Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 I fully expect Spurs to win all their games comfortably other than Chelsea. They will hopefully have a real hand in helping us by going all out against Spurs to prevent them winning the league whilst maybe going easy on the last day of the season against us. I seriously think we should ease off on the 'Stamford Bridge, are you listening' song as they're probably gonna be our best friends during this run in.
simFox Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 West brom look pants against arsenal, can't see them holding up spurs, again, nothing to play for either. They'll just take their drubbing on the chin.
TrentFox Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 For me, the worry isn't Spurs. It's us! We haven't played well in ages and without JV are less likely to do so. Eight points on recent performances with tough fixtures just looks beyond us for me. Which means we need them to drop points. And that doesn't look like happening. So watxh us now seal it with a game to spare!!!!!!
LJS Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Why are people so certain that Spurs will continue their current run?

Easily better than Sunderland. And were the better side against West Ham until the red card. We haven't been playing with the fluidity we were early on in the season but it has clearly been a deliberate tactical change, likely designed to deal with sides who were going to sit deep against us. We've been winning games and deserving to do so.
biggs Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 At least most fans worrying are worrying on this forum.....the odd one and i mean odd has found his/her way to the spurs forum and is throwing in the white towel over there......so sad

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 We're Leicester City Football Club we always like to do it the hard way and more often than not for my liking fail in the attempt. You are probably like me, and thinking about the last four games of the 1962/63 season. I can never forget how that felt!

surrifox Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Only 2 sides have beaten us in the league and we were arguably at times better than both - we shouldn't fear any of our last 4 opponents we are far better with much more to play for
coolhandfox Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 As Sunday against West Ham showed, sometimes things happen that you can't control! Could happen to us again or to Spurs! People worrying ask yourself would you swap places with Spurs.....
Gerard Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 We are worried because we have something to lose, we've led the table for months and went 10pts clear straight after beating Sunderland and Tottenham were drawing 0-0 with Man Utd with 20 mins to go. Tottenham are free rolling now because we kept winning and they couldn't close the gap. After drawing at home to West Ham, Vardy missing for two games and Tottenham thrashing teams it's nervous territory. We need to beat Swansea and then it starts getting tight for Tottenham, they can't afford to have a bad week to us. If we can get through these next two games and not lose any ground to them then they have to have everything go there way but we must beat Swansea.
char123 Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Have people not seen spurs fixtures? West Brom - Pulis factor Chelsea - local derby Southampton - fighting for Europe Newcastle - fighting to stay up Honestly don't think they will win all those games. The only hard fixture left for us is Man U. Tottenham arguably have 4 difficult fixtures. Not seen much of the pulis factor tonight and thats only against arsenal!!!Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
nnfox Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Spurs have to win all their games. We have to drop points twice in four games. We have two home games that on paper are winnable. The Vardy factor makes it more interesting but if we play Swansea and Man U and come away with just 2 points, we get Vardy back, fully fit for Everton at home and Chelsea away. I am not going to watch Spurs unless we get one or less points from our next two games. We, Leicester, are TOP of the league in MAY. Harry and his lions can keep coming but they need us to trip up twice. I'm staying relaxed for at least two more weeks.

My arsehole is twitching like a rabbit's nose, I keep telling myself that it's only football and doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things but I just want this so so bad. I'd love it if we could beat Swansea and West Brom get something at Spurs and have a relatively easy week next week. We just know if we do this though we'll be doing it the hard way.

Don't get me wrong, I desperately want us to beat Swansea and Man U and will be frustrated if we don't but as long as we take care of our business it doesn't matter what Spurs do. They are playing really well and I think a lot of Leicester fans are getting worried by their form. But honestly, if they play like Brazil in 1970 and win 10-0 it doesn't matter if we do what we need to do. I'm thinking that we will look back in years to come and be so proud of this team whether we finish 1st or 2nd, Obviously 1st is much, much better but it has been, and will go down in history as an amazing season. The most amazing season. If Spurs do play like Brazil in 1970 and win the title with 4 wins out of 4 then fair play to them. What will REALLY upset me is if they drop points and we still lose it. I can't do anything about Spurs and neither can you. Concentrate on us before worrying about them. We are the 12th man. We can do this.
4everfox Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 The only thing I'm worried about is Andy King not scoring the title winning goal.
Mezeker Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Have we not played well? We were comfortable enough against Newcastle. Palace didn't cause us problems. We restricted Southampton to almost nothing. We've been winning games and deserving to do so. Have we not been watching the same games, we should not have beat Newcastle, thank god for us Sissoko was garbage, Palace hit the bar in stoppage time and we were under siege the entire last 20 minutes. We snuck out a win against Norwich. Strangely the West Brom game was our best performance of late and that was a draw. Ok we probably would have beaten West Ham but for the red. If Sunderland's defenders dont fall asleep I am not sure we get a goal in that game. I am far from worried but to say that we have played well or rather to contradict his statement that we have not been playing well. I am not so sure. All that said, I expect a win on the weekend put one hand on the trophy.
Nick Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Well I'm not certain we'll beat Swansea or United so I'm shitting it.
