Len Madeiros Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 I live in London and have irregularly popped up to Leicester over the years to watch a match or two; I'm a Leicester student of the 80s. I must admit I haven't visited for the last two years, but please tell me how the city has reacted. I read the thread about how this fantastic story has translated into your own personal lives, but how has the city reacted? Are kiddies' smiles genuinely half an inch wider? Are the bereaved smiling inwardly? Are taxi drivers giving free rides? I'd love to know. I've always had a great affection for the city where I learnt to drink.

I would of thought next Sunday places will be packed with it being bank holiday and all.

Counting House was still packed and really sorry still for inadvertently getting my order in before the chap next to me who I thought had come after me but hadn't - sorry pal and a pint on me if I see you in there again. Corley Services was choc full of blue heading home to the West Mids.

Are you 'avin a laugh, Leicester Taxi drivers are the rudest and most ignorant i've ever had the misfortune of using!
