strider470it Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Rumor has it that Ranieri will bring the team to Roccaporena di Cascia, Umbria, Italy, for the pre-season training. According to many Italian newspapers there seems to be even an official invitation from mayor of Cascia where in the past Ranieri already brought Cagliari, Fiorentina, Chelsea etc.. http://www.gazzetta.it/notizie-ultima-ora/Calcio/Ranieri-venga-Cascia-col-Leicester/07-05-2016/2-A_026228313.shtml
possiblygeorge Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 With all these pre-season fixtures we're just asking for a long-term injury to key player/s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Larry_LCFC Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Think it's more a training camp than pre season fixtures reading that.
strider470it Posted 9 May 2016 Author Posted 9 May 2016 Think it's more a training camp than pre season fixtures reading that. Yes, it's exactly a training camp, they say. (I didn't know how to call it in English, sorry)

Wymsey Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Have a feeling that the club will only participate in the Champion's Cup tournament in the US and go to Italy for a couple of days only. And considering some players will go to the Euros, and deserve some rest at some point with family etc, and then the new season will only be around the corner.
MC Prussian Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 I can't remember where but I've read they're going back to Austria for the pre season training camp Leicester City Chief Executive Susan Whelan said: "An invitation to participate in the International Champions Cup highlights the significant impression the Club is making on an international audience. We are delighted to be involved in this year's competition. It will form part of a carefully planned pre-season programme that has worked extremely well in recent years – including a week-long training camp in Austria and selected domestic friendly fixtures. Rincewind Posted 10 May 2016 Posted 10 May 2016 Is this for the most coveted and sought after cup in history? The Anglo Italian cup.
