Leicester City going to Italy for pre-season trip?

Rumor has it that Ranieri will bring the team to Roccaporena di Cascia, Umbria, Italy, for the pre-season training.

According to many Italian newspapers there seems to be even an official invitation from mayor of Cascia where in the past Ranieri already brought Cagliari, Fiorentina, Chelsea etc..

Think it's more a training camp than pre season fixtures reading that.

Have a feeling that the club will only participate in the Champion's Cup tournament in the US and go to Italy for a couple of days only.

And considering some players will go to the Euros, and deserve some rest at some point with family etc, and then the new season will only be around the corner.

We are delighted to be involved in this year's competition. It will form part of a carefully planned pre-season programme that has worked extremely well in recent years – including a week-long training camp in Austria and selected domestic friendly fixtures.
