I'm a big fan of Wes and Huth but Elliott was the better defender, better with the ball and offered a decent goal threat

Mark Draper not got a mention yet, he was absolutely brilliant for that one season he played for us.

I hear the Mark Draper thing but he was made to look better by comparision with his struggling team mates that year. That was a horrible relegation!

 Nostalgia I know but I would have Steve Walsh in the squad. Would he get past Huth? Of course not but his spirit and never say die attitude should always be accomodated. Oh, and the occasional brutal red card thrown in to liven up League Cup games against lower league opposition.
