Fifa should ram it.  Hope the FA do the right thing for a change and Wear the poppy anyway.

Simple really...No poppy  No FIFA !!!!!      Fan of Leicester at least should make a bloody big tifo or banner

Stating that fact...Show the World what the poppy represents.

If FIFA WANT sanctions, I for one   will be happy that The home countries walk away from international competition.

My fathers and Uncles and Grandad before them, didnt  go through that shit, for FIFA Nobodies to go on a nonsical

Crusade...Football and sport , are higher than any ignoramous , incompetent commitees.

One more statement...dregs of the earth..  For this I have no funny, wry or  black humour vocabulary or sentence.

He who denies my fathers and grandads sacrifice and youth, should be  Ostrascised, pull out Voluntarily.

Drop FIFA and EUFA and the corruption that is built within. Create  a new platform. Dont even go to court or tribunals.

Dont give european or foreign lawyers the notion or ground to make money..

I'm not English and I think remembrance for the British sacrifice in the various campaigns should be completely supported. The young men who never returned to have a life, that we've had, is an unbelievable sacrifice.  Anyone who doesn't understand this unimaginable sacrifice is a willy puller of the first order (and has no heart).

tbh, this lookls like it will be one of those cases.... where too much of a thing lessens it's value and meaning.

A lot of the tv broadcast media, in particular the foreign members, don't know or really understand why they are having poppys attached to them for when they appear on TV. Even most footballers, definately the foreign ones - don't really give much concern for the poppy or what it symbolises. Nor should they.

When people are forced or compelled into making a gesture like that, it loses it's true value. It's like now it's 2016 every football player has to wear a poppy! In 2005 England played Argentina in November near rememberance day, yet no one was insisting they wear a poppy then. That was 2005, Leicester City first had poppies on our shirt in 2003. This poppy wearing on football shirts or by other sports personalities is a very recent phenomenon. It just seems now, politicians and some media outlets want to be seen as those defending Britain from hostile powers abroad who want to change our culture and our principles. When in reality all this drum beating for the poppy is just going to make it lose it's worth and it's true meaning in a few years time.

You say it's for 'the French, British, Americans, Indians, Canadians etc.' but, on the other hand, it's not political. Surely, if we're distinguishing between the heroism and the worthiness of those nations' sacrifice in WWI, and that of every other nation, then that's a very political debate - whether our viewpoint is the 'right' one or not. We're saying that our foreign policy was more justifiable than theirs.

Personally, it's not about any of those things for me. It's about (an often senseless) loss of life, rather than a worthy and meaningful sacrifice. I know Jessie Pope was from Leicester, but if you read any half-decent war poetry you'll know what I mean. If people think it's about the meaningful sacrifice of people fighting for the British Empire (which is what, for many people, it is about), then perhaps FIFA are right to ban it after all.

But it's not for remembering everyone  it's the British legion selling to British people to remember the dead from Britain

and despite being Irish I haven't a problem with that because every society/country  should have a version of the poppy to remember their brave dead

this is the greatest nation on earth , it's nice to see British people appreciate being British because most of the time a good deal of you lot whinge and moan like 5yo's about how crap yer country is
