Not when the lefty liberal fun sponge is the one pointing the finger in the first place and throwing the 'r' word around so lazily and slandering the OP. Whatever. But he's just one guy, and only speaks for himself. Please don't lump us all together assumptively.
bovril Posted 3 December 2016 Posted 3 December 2016 I honestly think Wymeswold is a Russian-trained internet troll sent to undermine foxestalk.
Wymsey Posted 3 December 2016 Posted 3 December 2016 Can I just reiterate that in the last general election I personally voted conservative and voted for the UK to remain in the EU? I initially thought the opening was slightly racist (hence the emocion), comparing someone to a different background which could lead to some posters making fun them of the thread starting point. Though don't think this was entirely the op's intention. It's rather ironic the few most recent posters before this post have been criticised for their particular opinions on other threads in the past but have combined together to see me as racist myself/lefty (both far from what I believe in)... Might as well kindly close this thread if possible as not comfortable to be wrongly being accused of something I'm not and people's reactions towards myself being unevidenced. Edit: Apologies to 'those' still stung despite me retracting my initial comment on this thread.

Who do you mean by 'us'? The left? The following is not aimed at Wymeswold Fox or any individual but there is a growing culture among the left for seeking out racism where it doesn't exist and tossing around the 'r' word like confetti. The trouble with this is that such allegations can be career-ending and turn the recipient into a pariah. They remind me of 17th C. puritans finding witchcraft around every corner. They love to be offended, especially on someone else's behalf as it gives them a chance to sprint up to the moral high ground and pat themselves on the back. Must be some kind of insecurity. Anyway, This is why if you use the 'r' word you had better first of all be right and second of all actually know what it means.

I can agree that the 'r' word is tossed about too much and that 'being offended' really is just a meaningless whine.
bovril Posted 3 December 2016 Posted 3 December 2016 The left do play the race card. But not as much as the right play the 'the left always play the race card' card.
