TrickyTrev Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 I have been speaking to a couple fo peopel who go to Arsenal reserve games reguarly and apparently Smith did in his knee a while a go and has never been the same player since. Before that he was supossedely phenomenal. Still he is supossed to have a bit of trickery about him and a blinding cross to boot.
SilverFox Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 I just hope that the addition of this player lifts the team. We are going through a lean patch and could in theory be in the bottom 2 by the end of tomorrow. Thats why a winning mentality and an extra boost in the playing department is so important right now! We need wins!

SilverFox Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 Bugger me. Thats exactly what the sensation of being in the forest zone feels like I should imagine! In our history we have never been out of the top two leagues...lets not start aye!
Anish Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 Well we need an injection of something hopefully this kid will give us a lift Steroids? Does anyone else think Levein is reading comics if he thinks there's a good chance we can get this lad permanently in January? You only have to read what Wenger says about the lad just last week to know he is highly rated there. Also at 18, he's very young and I doubt he's at the stage where he wants to move on to guaramtee first team football like perhaps some of their youngsters do at 20/21. Don't get me wrong, i'd be over the moon if we got him permanently but I wonder whether there is a possible agreement or not? Hat's off to the Dancing Queen Levein if it is true. He's here He's there He's every ****in where Ryan Smith Ryan Smith Too right. If he's as good as he's been touted he'll want to stay at Arsenal to prove himself or move to a bigger club than Leicester I'd imagine. Plus I don't think he'll be too impressed by our style of football unless something dramatic happens. I bet he'll be asked to play right midfield rather than his natural left position because of Levein's obssession with Tiatto
Little Nicky Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 I like this linking up with Arsenal, lastseason it was Stuart Taylor, a real pitty we couldn't get him in permanently, this season it's Ryan Smith, and although I hope we can get him on a permanent if he plays well here there's no way that will happen, it's that terrible old cliché!
