Cast your minds back! We are plucky occasional big-boy-upsetters, we are cruel Wembley defeats, we are defeat from jaws of victory, we are losing our manager when it's all coming together, we are not sacking a manager when it's clear we should, we are 'and leicester', we are regular la manga scandals, we are valuers of hard workers and appreciate that extreme skill will be fleeting amongst our number, we are comfortable generally with mediocrity providing there is some scandal and the occasional cup run or ridiculous against the odds win to keep it exciting. We are middle England, we are yo-yo. We are the original Steve Walsh. We are Iwan Roberts gappy toothy derby slaying grin. We are Matt Heath being our main goal threat. We are Elvis Hammond's mystery drugankle, we are YouTube signing, we are (almost) fosse, We are a procession of cars annually down the m1 to Wembley ( i'm not even from leicester) this relegation is totally us. Anyone who feels cheated by it or surprised by it has been distracted and forgotten all of the above. Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust and Leicester city to yo yo team between top two tiers with regular Wembley heartbreak, cult heroes and the occasional bit of glory. If if you don't like it, get off the ride ! the only think I can't stomach is the lack of effort. Everything else is fair game within the remit of being a Leicester fan. What we we are not is Steve Walsh the scout or some psychologist or whatever. We are not even our defeats this season. We are just the whole curve. Very much agree, and I was thinking more or less the same when I read this today .... https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2017/feb/04/leicester-city-premier-league-relegation-symptoms
TheUltimateWinner Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Shakespeare didn't speak to Ranieri all game. Just saying. Stowell and Shakespeare had their own conversations but didn't once speak to Ranieri.
