Thank god hargreaves is gone, neville still there though. Jenas in but no Murphy or Parker??? I think Carrick is injured so he has an excuse there. Apart from that all pretty much expected i think.

Yes, Carrick is unfortuneately injured. As you say Parker should be in there. ;)

Also about time Hargreaves was dropped - he is pants. Bet he is injured though.

Oh yeah, Hargreaves is sooooo bad. Ignore the fact him and Ballack control the most successful midfield in Germany, and that he's technically better than pretty much everyone but Rooney in the England team. He's the perfect squad player and has deserved to start in the past. God knows he's better than Carrick,Jenas,Parker,Butt and the rest of the average squad.

Just read somewhere that Hargreaves is only left out because of injury. Could be wrong but i think that is the reason.

Can't beleive Alan Smith is in there ahead of Danny Murphy.

Murphy has been immense this season.

Are you tripping on acid or something?

Hargreaves offers us nothing, he came on against Wales and pretty much all he did was give the ball away. Awful player.

I really can't see Sven doing it but wouldn't 3-5-2 make sense? I know it might be risky to change formation in an important match but with your first choice full backs out and 3 centre backs vying for 2 places it seems sensible.

-------------Robinson-------------------

--Campbell-Terry-Ferdinand----------

-------------King-----------------------

-Beckham-Lampard-Gerrard-Cole---

----------Owen-Crouch----------------

Then with a full team swap Crouch with Rooney and maybe swap King for A.Cole, with him and Beckham slightly behind the other 3.

Just a thought.

Exactly.

It's a disgrace that Danny Murphy wasn't in the squad. Easily the most consistent midfielder in the Prem this season.

Hargreaves wasn't dropped though, he wasn't selected due to injury. Do you really think Sven would drop him?:thumbdown:
