whetstonefox Posted 19 February 2017 Posted 19 February 2017 The lack of desire/confidence appears to have infected the whole squad. Unfortunately it's over for CR, this team is going down with a whimper, a change of management may not keep us up but may be the only hope. If they don't respond to a new manager then the players will take a lot of the blame. Sevilla and Liverpool will probably be lost, it's the Hull game where the 'recovery' needs to start, by then we'll probably be in the bottom 3. The only simalarity from 2 years ago is that we still have enough 'winnable' looking fixtures to get us to 38/40 points.
MurphyMagic Posted 19 February 2017 Posted 19 February 2017 This season has been an absolute car crash from the moment we kicked the season off. We are free falling and there is no sign of it being stopped. Unfortunately we can't sack all the players so Ranieri you have to go.
GoldstarFox31 Posted 19 February 2017 Posted 19 February 2017 I try to look on the positive side but more recently I've found it harder and harder to do so. Swansea for example, they were nothing special, and were there for the taking. What I was hoping to see was the team get stuck into them and show the fight and desire to want to stay in this league, show is the fans that they do care. What we got was and absolute bag of shite. There were only a few who showed fight (of sorts) Gray and Ndidi. No one else really stood out. Sentiment goes a long way but unfortunately in business it doesn't. Football is just that nowadays, a business, if a person, as likeable as he may be, can't pull a shift or bring in money-do owners wait until they hit administration? Of course they don't. So why should LCFC do the same? The Championship won't bring in the revenue to support the club-end of. As much as I respect Ranieri for what he has done for us, and I do like the bloke and he deserved a chance, he has got to go. It carries on and I fear it is going to go horribly wrong. It's a long hard road out of hell.
Jonno84 Posted 19 February 2017 Posted 19 February 2017 Even when we were bottom before the great escape I liked them because the tried but just couldn't win score.I carnt stand the site of them anymore.sick and tiered of it.I'm like hateing my own team who I've supported sine the early 90s its like the complete opisite of last year.its a simler feeling to what I got when we are relegated to leuge one

Unfortunately for us, if there is zero desire to play well, nothing is winnable. I really wouldn't be that surprised if we don't get as many as 6 points for the rest of the season. I can't remember being this disheartened with the City, even when our wonderful history of only playing in the top 2 divisions was severely dented in 2008 and we were relegated to League 1.
