I've been critical of Okazaki but last night he was fantastic. More of that please Shinji.

I think he could make an excellent CB. Fast(for a CB), has OK feet,smart, can go for headers and he has fresh legs. I would say give him a try.

Claudio has consistently played the 4-4-2 formation until december I think. It became a running gag in every match thread. The only but big difference is that he told the team to sit deep. Where comes the myth he abandoned the 4-4-2?

Schmeichel's kicking was iffy, he didn't make a save I wouldn't expect of him and then nearly pushed a shot into his own net.

 

Mahrez held possession quite well at times, won us set plays in their final third and played an instrumental part in one of our goals.

He had a couple of duffers to start off with, but his distribution improved greatly after. He set up as many goal scoring chances as Mahrez did .
