You obviously didn't go to Southampton away. Having said that, he has had a really good season, I agree. I'd just about give it Schmeichel. Albrighton in the top three, though.
desertfox2 Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 Definitely Kasper for me. Honourable mention to Simpson who has improved so much in past 2 season's must have really knuckled down. Thought he was our week link at the beginning of last season but from then on he's become a great player. 7 out of 10 almost every week
walkerleeds Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 I love the man to bits but he was utter gash before Shakey came in.
Monsell1976 Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 Should be player of half season, they were all shite for a very long time, kasper is probably the only one to play well all season
ZeGuy Posted 9 May 2017 Posted 9 May 2017 Hands down the best player of Shakey's era. He's been immense since february. But let's not forget the rest of the season. So no, player of the season award should go to Kasper. We owe him big.
Dames Posted 9 May 2017 Posted 9 May 2017 Kasper has to be POTS without a doubt. Albrighton whilst he's been fantastic since Shakespeare took charge was absolute dog muck before that - Lost count of how many times he'd aimlessly punt it up only for it to come straight back he was as bad as Morgan and Huth for this. That being said if he keeps this form up it won't be long before an England call up he's the natural heir to Milners place in the squad.

Ranieri going full Ranieri at its finest. This formation, used by Zidane at Real Madrid, is very difficult to play and supposes overlapping FBs. Which Fuchs (rarely) and Simpson aren't. That game was a crash waiting to happen and was for me the last straw.
